BT Shop saying 3-4 days for stock now:mad: said 1-2 when I ordered, hope mines still 1-2 days & the 3-4 days is just additional stock. Only ordered from BT as Ebuyer was pre-order only & didn't know how long that would be.

I know it may go out of stock, but I have made a promise to myself. I am sitting an IT exam on Wednesday, if I pass, I will know the result at the end, I will buy the LCD.

Really really fed up:mad: got an email from Maplin today to say that wall bracket was discontinued, so posting other items.
Looked on thier website & they have another bracket for £29.99 now reduced A54GC, which will fit my TV ( this wasn't at this price when I ordered the other one )
Phoned customer services as money has already been taken from my bank for full price, they said a "credit note" would be sent with my order!! I said had they contacted me I would have ordered the alternative item, I asked why they couldn't just refund me, was told it was sent out as a credit note automatically & that I can send the credit note back in the free post envelope for a refund, what a palaver:mad:
So then said I hope I still got free postage for spending over £35 & £3 off for spending over £50 was told I have - I will let you know on that one.
Said I wanted to order the alternative wall bracket, but did not want to pay postage as not my fault as had even rung customer services before to see if they had any of the now discontinued bracket in stock in local shop & was told to order online! Have given me free postage - whoopee:o
Then as my TV that I ordered from BT Shop still shows as processing order, even though when I ordered it on the 21/11 it said 1-2 days for stock to come in, has still not arrived, had to find a number for BT Shop, easier said than done got passed about a bit but number is 08704293210 - I know it's an 0870 number but desperate!
Got through to them, they said sorry, stock isn't due in until 29/11 then it will be 1-3 days for delivery, how rubbish is that, so nothing like the 1-2 days for stock to come in, quoted on thier site when I ordered.

Got the cables through today, they did give me the £3 off & free delivery, no freepost envelope just a label.

Can't comment on how good this is yet as although I ordered it from BT Shop on the 21st ( said stock would be in 1-2 days ) STILL haven't received it, although I stayed in today as showed as shipped yesterday.
Driving me mad the "executive" ( as they name thier call centre staff ) couldn't have been less interested or helpful, sounded like he really didn't want to be there. I asked for someone to call me back as I think it's wrong to say stock coming in 1-2 days when it isn't, I could have got it elsewhere by now, & didn't because BT's lead time was shorter. No-one ever called me.
So nearly cancelled yesterday & re-ordered, then saw it showed shipped.
I won't be buying from them again, TELL THE TRUTH, so fed up of waiting in for deliveries. The excitement of buying this is fading fast.

anyone who is looking for a wall bracket i can reccomend a company called kingvision in newark notts
he also sells on ebay and is fairly cheap.
The quality of the brackets is fantastic for the price
