Ok many thanks I will do that. Do I have to post the defence to both the court and Gladstones or can I email it please? If so what is the address for the courts and doni need to include any specific words in the subject title
Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2 which covers all the above, much of it written by legally qualified experts so that it is a readily accessible resource, and to save regulars always having to answer the same questions multiple times a week.
Please always check your questions out there first, if you can't find an answer, only then raise it on this thread.
Thank you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Only you know which court you are dealing with.Ok many thanks I will do that. Do I have to post the defence to both the court and Gladstones or can I email it please? If so what is the address for the courts and doni need to include any specific words in the subject title
Google will help you find the address if for some inexplicable reason it isn't on the Court Order that instructs you to file and serve a Defence.0 -
Many parking areas are now on private land due to the council not keeping up with growth of private vehicle ownership and selling off council car parks or not building more, not to mention their increase parking charges. The problem will only get worst.
I read with interest this intended new bill suppose to eliminate so call scammers but they are there to protect owners property to use how they see fit.
There have been numerous stories the one I read to my horror was one involving parking eye who took someone to court for £30,000 all because they listen to poor advice and ignored the tickets issued to them.
Some parking companies will pursue if they have issued a number of ticket as its worth they while to do so. For one off tickets they may not.
However, the moment they involve legal team such as solicitor etc the matter becomes serious if it then goes to court. You could lodge an out of time appeal on the grounds given to the courts and fight your case
But I do sympathise horrible feeling owning £2000 on parking fine when the money could be best spent elsewhere.0 -
What is the 'worst' is the scam and infestation of parasite Parking firms utterly ruining retail car parks, hospitals, residential car parks and having a knock on effect to all the businesses, driving customers away. The problem will only get worst.
Agree?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

HI guys, an update. I won my set aside in August and my court date to defend the original tickets is next month. Thank you for all your help, I won the set aside by saying I didn't see the signs(!) which I didn't. What is the protocol now for doing my WS and Exhibits? I had an email from GLASDSTONES today saying they won't be there attending on the day but they have served their WS and bits to the court. What do I do now?
Kind regards

What is yoru DEADLINE for submitting the same to the court?
By "protocol" what do you actually mean? Do you mean how to write them? If so - newbies thread, plus about a dozen threads here. If HOW do yo usubmit them - then by hand to your court, and by post to the claimants solicitor.0 -
dont get that , the setaside would have been for the reason that you did not defend . saying you did not see the signs , may very well be a reason to challenge the "offence" , but its nothing to do with a setasideJustWill said:HI guys, an update. Sorry. Alk the paperwork was sent to an old address but I had to convince the judge that I had a realistic chance of winning the case and my defence was i didnt see the signs and they were not obvious. He then awarded me the set aside.
