You will struggle i think with this, due to the large number of tickets involved, you say your set aside is for August
What Defence/statement of case have you logged with your set aside application?

The nature of land of which I parked is a housing estate that PCM manage. Each house has 1 allocated parking space and 1 visitor space. I was parked in the allocated space. However i wasnt on the tenancy although I lived at the property.

My defence I wrote down was that I was simply unaware of any parking tickets as none were ever on my car and clearly all letters had gone to my previous address. Of all the photos that were taken, only 1 showed a ticket on the car which was clearly placed for the purpose of the photo by the warden as it wasnt there at 6.30 am when I left for work. All tickets were handed out between 3-5am.. sneaky to say the least.

Its 10 tickets all within maybe 2-3 weeks I believe. They basically came out between 3-5am and photographed and 'ticketed' any car which didnt have a permit. Because I wasnt aware this was happening he obviously caught me out numerous times day after day, hence the large number of tickets. As I say, no ticket was ever left on my car so I was unaware it was happening and I was a sitting duck every night.

I'm unaware of what the lease/tenancy agreement states as my ex is rather unwilling to help me out by showing it to me. Regardless, I wasnt named on the tenancy in any case. I'm just a bit stumped. This could end up costing thousands all for sinlmy parking in my own space allocated to the property I was residing in. It's disgusting.

It will not cost thousands. But first, to address your set aside hearing query:
No idea what to say apart from being honest and explaining I never received any letters or communications because everything was sent to a new address. I will happily read and prepare if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Search the forum for set aside Judge satisfied and read all results.

Also, read threads about PCM defences. I can hardly recall when we've seen one lost, there is so much to object to in the predatory way PCM operate and the lack of evidence and their prohibitive signs.

You have plenty of time to prepare and also to work on a basic defence.

Oh, and send a SAR to PCM so you can see all their photos and evidence of all the PCN records and data they hold. See the NEWBIES thread section on sending a SAR.

Coupon-Mad ami too late to ask for a SAR? It's been longer than 30 days since I applied to the court to have the CCJ set aside. And also what do I do with the outstanding 5 tickets that are currently sat at £160 each and about to be sent through to Gladstones?

Never too late for a SAR. Many courts are so busy, they are setting hearings between July-October now, so you might not even get a quick hearing!

Get the SAR to see all the PCNs and all the photos, so you can see their hand and spot how predatory the tickets were, with photos probably taken over a period of one minute flat with no grace period allowed to read signs, etc.

You need to know what evidence the scumbags are relying on.

Wait till Gs write, then reply denying the debt and pointing out that the facts match claim no xxxxxxxx which is currently the subject of a set aside application, and thus if their cowboy clients start a new claim for the other PCNs you will ask the courts to strike it out, or consolidate the claims to be heard at one hearing, following the first scam CCJ being set aside.

I tell it like it is, and use the words like 'scam' and 'cowboys' because that's what MPs (and Martin Lewis too) have called the parking industry. Quite rightly.

Ok cool, I'm going to look into this all now. I'm at work but it's quiet. So I will research on how to do a SAR and do that. Is there any defence templates on here for which I can edit and print off to take to court with me?

I have a set aside date already for August 16th. All of the 5 photos for this second lot were taken between 3-6am and only one had a ticket on the screen (which conveniently wasn't there when I left for work at 6.30/7am)

Do you know the likely outcome of all of this? As in the most likely scenario, will the tickets get reset at court to their original values? Will they be struck off or will I have to pay thousands (With debt collectors/court charges etc the first set of 5 are at £2000, which is what DCBL turned up at my old house for)
