  • can you explain how to do long division? I cannot remember and if my life depended on it I'd be a goner! :o

Haha this is the one thing I can't do! Weirdly, I can actually divide polynomial equations better than I can numbers :o
Long division is why God gave us calculators

It made my little black heart sing with joy. It completely devoured 3 of my plants so I rained salty death upon it.

    Hello :)
Lovely morning here, went to a market and bought cheap peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms :)
It is supposed to rain this afternoon though :(
If it does, hopefully it will be enough to give the plants a drink!

Someone is supposed to be picking up a big garden item sold on FB, so hopefully they will come before it does!
    Other things:
Bolognese sauce currently bubbling on stove top, there will be enough for today and at least one more meal - rounded up lots of bits and pieces from fridge and added to the pot!
Decided to send back a cookery book I had forgotten I had pre-ordered from Amazon. I do not need any more cookery books :o
Start to plan food to take for long weekend away next week
Bit of housework, not sure what yet, but there is plenty to choose from!

Finish book, I have really enjoyed it (Old Glory by Jonathan Raban if anyone else likes travel writing). This was a charity shop book, and I usually re-donate them once read, but think I will hang onto this one to read again at some point :)

    Hi Everyone

Was up early planning to walk up Mam Tor but roads were closed for a big cycle race, so we headed to my "Happy Place" (the gorgeous Ladybower/Derwent Valley area) to get a few steps in, was t-shirt weather and a lovely morning. Have also set my challenge for August which is extremely close to my heart - I have a lovely friend living with MND and her life has changed dramatically over the last 2 years - heartbreaking.

    Today we have:

    Checked Bank & made PAD
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
    Checked: Lucky Bob, PMP, WinaDinner

    Night all
