how many meters can we driver on Bus Lane

I was in central London late at night with my (quite wealthy) brother-in-law just after the introduction of the congestion charge. I remarked on how quite the traffic was.
"It's lovely," he remarked. "Roads for the Rich!"
Shurely shome mishtake - the congestion charge doesn't operate late at night. Only from 7am to 6pm.0 -

Thanks for the correction, though. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
Well the one near me is rush-hour only -but as z1a says - most people just avoid it at any time. The only thing to be wary of is that you can be tempted to go over 30 as you filter past...
Another thing to be really careful of is being cut up.
Plenty of road users don't check blindspots properly at the best of times and I'm convinced that plenty assume there's nothing in the bus lane that isn't the size of a bus... And so it's hardly surprising that sometimes they turn left across you without looking properly (or indicating, these days).0 -
I think Jimbo means that you can't read it unless you are pretty much already in the bus lane, it is pretty hard to read from a moving car outside the lane, which is why so many people don't drive in them at any time to be safe. Number plate letters are a little bigger so I can read them from 20 metres....
It really isn't difficult to read. I'm on the cusp on needing glasses to drive and have no problem reading bus lane signs.0 -

True - extra attention needed at the end or at junctions. Probably the same lot of idiots who fail to see cyclists because they aren't the size of buses.
A full-size bin wagon...
He'd have hit it about 2/3 of the way down, too, and it wasn't exactly going fast...0 -

Yes. Zero.0 -

I get that point, but there's plenty of paint on the road. Don't drive in a bus lane, until you've read the blue sign - simple enough. Signs could be blocked by other vehicles, trees etc, bu that's no excuse to just drive into one at 8.30am.0 -

So, no, you're not "pretty much already in the bus lane".0
