"how many meters we are allowed to drive on bus lane,"

Would they be, for example, gas or electricity meters?

IIRC a couple of years back, some local authorities were making noise about trying to get the ok to issue double penalties to people who clipped the last few meters of a bus lane and in the first and last few minutes of operation to ram-home the point that there was no leeway in this whatsoever.

Dunno how far they actually got with the idea though..?

What are these "bus lanes" exactly?? Don't exist round our way...
    ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

    To paraphrase The Eagles

One of the bus lanes in Blackburn, on a major route into centre is only operative from about 8 - 10 am. the amount of cars that think it's 24 hours is unbelievable, and as you sail past the queue of traffic after this time the amount of dirty looks you get is hilarious.
