Don't drive in the bus lanes end of, the bus lane doesn't extend to the left turn, yes it can be annoying as the end of the bus lane does seem to extend too far.
I guess you got a notice for the same lane?

Round here they're normally pretty clearly separated by a thick white line - you cannot cross into them until that lane separator changes.

Did you really just cross over at the very end, or is that just where the camera caught you, hence this being your argument? Did you forget that it was Monday because of it being a public holiday?

"how many meters we are allowed" - None.

If it was one metre, there might be an argument of de minimis, i.e. too trivial to pursue, but ten? Guilty as hell!

The clue is in the name - bus lanes are for buses. If you're not a bus, you can't drive in them at all. Not even for 1 metre.

Glad you got a ticket - maybe next time you'll do what I do and wait.

Does anybody know how far I can drive down the pavement?

It's only when turning left or undertaking cars waiting to turn right, so surely a couple of car lengths is fine...?

If you want to be free to drive in a bus lane, become a bus driver.

Bus lanes are for buses. So do not drive in them.

Also do not drive on any meters as you will damage your vehicle and most likely make them unreadable.LOL:rotfl:

    Or drive a black cab....

Or ride a motorcycle (in some areas - signs will tell you).

Or to be reallly, really pedantic - you can drive in a bus lane for as long as it is clear. However, you are very likely to receive penalty charges for doing so...
I need to think of something new here...
