Hi Jessy - I found you again! I thought you had stopped writing in your MFW diary as there hadn't been anything for so long (I'm not one to talk, I've taken quite a few long breaks on mine). I am so pleased to see you set up another one and are back on track with your MFW journey. Best of luck with it!
I'm very sorry to hear about your divorce. It sounds like it was for the best, but these things are never easy and it must have taken a lot of courage to make the move. I am so pleased it has worked out well for you. Fingers crossed all goes well with bf xxxMortgage: Mar 2018 -£300,000 / Jul 2021 -£255,000 / Oct 2024 -£172,835 (1.27% Interest until Feb 2027)

Thanks hetty! We're getting there with the boiler! The gas men came out and said it's all good and would only take a day HOWEVER they need to dig up a bit of the neighbours drive to do it and I need them to complete a Consent Form, the problem is next door is up for sale and they've already moved out! I contacted the estate agent today who got the owner to call me, he's happy to sign the consent form so I've emailed that across to him. In return he asked me to put some rubbish out for the bin men Sunday night for them to collect Monday morning. I said sure thing! Small price to pay imo :jMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thanks ch4rly!
Well, a productive weekend so far, bf went into work for some overtime this morning, 5:30-10am so while he was at work, I walked and fed the dogs, cleaned out my budgie, cleaned the house including the bathroom, changed the bedding which is now in the wash, ironed the clothes that I washed last night, took the electric meter readings (it says I'm now in £245 debit!!!!), claimed £5 from swagbucks and then when bf returned home, I cooked us a brunch of potato waffles, fried eggs, beans and plum tomatoes. This will do us until we go to my parents house for tea tonight. Bf is now snoozing with the dogs and I can't say I'll be far behind! Nothing like an afternoon nap!
Have a good weekend!

Not a bad few days. Went to my parents for tea on Saturday night, we had pizza, wedges and salad for main, with sticky toffee pudding for afters! Yummy! Living back in my home village certainly has it's good points!
Sunday, we went for a lovely walk with the dogs at a local woods/lake, it was a bit muddy and the dogs had to be washed down when we got home but overall, a nice time was had by all. We were naughty though and bought lunch at the local C0 0pWe did have pie, mash and mushy peas for tea at home though! The neighbour came round with the signed Consent Form for the gas company Sunday afternoon, which I promptly scanned in and emailed off. I had a reply from the gas company today, saying that the Consent Form is all good and they have contacted the planning team to advise :j The neighbour put his own rubbish out as well so I don't have to do that. Although, I was a little disappointed because the house the neighbour is selling is a 6 bedroomed, grade II listed, Victorian house, with an acre of land and outbuildings and I was looking forward to having a little nose!! I may have a slight addiction to looking at houses and Rightmove is one of my favourite websites
Back at work today, so red pepper soup for lunch and fajitas for tea. We've had the heating off since New Years, which after the debit I'm now in with the energy company, I'm glad about! We are now also only turning the hot water on an hour before we need it and then turning it back off so it's not using electric all day and night to keep it warm. I'll be so glad to get rid of this hideous electric boiler, it's done nothing but cause me anxiety and stress since we moved in!!!
On another good note, I sent back a gift card which I had returned because when my nephew went to use it, it hadn't been activated. I received an email today advising my refund has been processed and the money will go back on my card in a few days. I have already spent the money though because after our muddy dog walk on Sunday, we realised we could really do with a cover to keep on the backseat for the dogs!!
Have a lovely week guys!

I decided to pay a further £200 off the mortgage this month, so the new total is £67,800. When the interest gets added on it will take the total just over £68K again but only by a few pounds so I can can that wiped off quickly and cross the £68K box off my chart by the end of the month!! :j
I set up a direct debit of £20 to go into my pension, not much, I know and is not matched by work but it's a start and I can cancel it if I have to.
Not much else to report, I ordered my T3sc0 shop to come Saturday and it was £69.94 for the next two weeks so I'm pleased with that. Food is something I really love and is the way I treat myself a lot of the time so I don't want to cut back anymore.
Hope the rest of the week goes well for you!

Hi Cheery!
