A colleague quit unexpectedly the other day and just walked out! I've been given her work to do, which is annoying because I'm now doing two people's jobs, but I have been told some of the customer care work might be taken off me, so if I play my cards right I could end up doing the other job full time (which quite frankly is a walk in the park!) and minimal customer complaints! Fingers crossed anyway!
I didn't get round to doing ziffit, we took the dog for a nice walk round the local woods and then went to the garden centre and got a lovely food hamper for my grandparents. Only 2 presents left to buy! The Christmas tree went up when we got home, after the rough time we've had lately, we needed some cheer 🎄
Fingers crossed you get the other work🍀

I'm good thanks, NG! ❤
There's not really a lot to report! Christmas shopping is all done and wrapped. We just have this week to work then 2 weeks off! Yay! I'm really looking forward to the break. We had a new lady start last Thursday and it's up to me to train her, I can't say I'm impressed, she seems to struggle on the simplest of tasks. I'm trying to be patient but I have so much of my own work to do, having to watch her and constantly check and put right mistakes is putting so much more pressure on me, I might as well do the job myself!
We get paid on Friday, so I'll see about overpayments to the mortgage then. I would love to get under £60k but that would mean using up all of my savings, so maybe not the best idea 😂
BF is going to pick up boyo on Friday afternoon after we finish work and he's staying until the 23rd, we'll have our own little Christmas dinner and open presents just the three of us. Then we'll take him home and spend the night at BFs parents house, open presents and spend some time with them and then come home Christmas Eve. Christmas dinner is at my parents house and then we can home and chill out! Really looking forward to it.
Got very tempted by whippet puppies this weekend but decided to leave it until next year...maybe! 😂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Bad influences we may be but you know we are right! New special friend for dog 2 as a Christmas gift, lovely warm cosy bed for little pup, long walks in the fresh air, cuddles on the sofa.
