When you are feeling a little stronger google the poem dogs never die. It is quite long so didnt think I had better post it here, plus I didnt want to catch you unaware. . Make sure you have a tissue or several handy. It is beatiful and helped us when we lost our old collie.

Thanks guys ❤
@ladyholly Thank you, I will have a look at that x
Today was a tough one as I had to call the vets about his cremation, I've gone for an individual cremation (that means he will be cremated on his own instead of with other dogs, so we can have his ashes back. I can't believe anyone would want their dog to be cremated with others but the vets do charge extra for individual cremation (£161.95) so I suppose some people wouldn't be able to afford it) His ashes will come back in a scatter tube with a woodland scene on. I think we'll have a trip to a nice walk that we go on in the woods and scatter some there and then at the beach, he always loved zoomies on the beach. Unfortunately, due to the insurance debacle (my own fault) I've had to pay for this and it's all come to about £900, thank goodness for the EF fund but not good for my 'f off work' fund!
I have messaged my boss today who said I can work from home tomorrow which was nice of him and I don't have to leave dog 2. She seems ok and was willing to play with BF today so that was good. She always got her bowl of food second though so when we put it down now she seems reluctant to eat at first thinking it's dog 1's food, not hers, bless her. My parents are then happy to have her while we're at work from Tuesday onwards and we can then get her used to being in her own in the house for a couple of hours at a time.
Not much else to report, just a quiet weekend because we haven't felt up to much.
Thanks again for the kind comments xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Well, it's been a week since we lost dog 1. It's been tough, I miss cuddles with him and him being my shadow whilst I my make food in the hope that he might get something! Everything has been paid for now and my EF is down to £1800, which is quite a blow but dog 2 is properly insured so i won't have to lose that much to vet bills again.
£10.10 cashed out from panelbase.net this week and I'm up to £4 on prolific. I haven't felt like streaming my video games this week but I'm going to get started again tomorrow, it's a nice little extra income and I need to build that EF back up. There's been rumours of furlough at work but more so in the factory than the office which may affect BF. His overtime has been stopped now, so it's definitely slowing down in there.
BF's mum gave me an online discount voucher for m0rris0ns so that has taken £12 off the shopping that will be delivered on Monday.
Have a nice weekend! XMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.
