Glad they’ve been in touch Jessy. Have you spent the time on furlough updating your CV ready for job hunting? 😛
I agree with thick n thin - find the money somewhere other than the EF? It’s all still rather uncertain at the moment...Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

It was up to date way before the furlough, vix! 😂
I'd already decided not to take the money out of the EF I just needed to vent my frustration and stamp my feet! Unfortunately, with the tv license being due at the end of May (£154.50) I won't be able to make the £150 OP. I'll just have to see what's left at the end of June instead, with my birthday falling then hopefully I'll be able to make a nice OP

I think we may be getting too comfortable getting paid for not working Jessy 😆 Did you pay the £150 off the mortgage? I would have to pay it and make it £151 so it begins with £55K 😬MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3

Very much so NG!! I think I'm going to struggle with the alarm going off on Monday!!newgirly said:I think we may be getting too comfortable getting paid for not working Jessy 😆 Did you pay the £150 off the mortgage? I would have to pay it and make it £151 so it begins with £55K 😬
No, I didn't pay off the £150
As much as I want to, I know the right thing to do right now is save it in the EF. I like you're idea though, I usually like round numbers but maybe when it's going into the next thousand, I'll do an extra £1!
I got a pay out from my streaming today of £66.72, not bad for playing video games! I've transferred £41.72 to my EF and it now stands at £5,900!! So close to 6K, it'll definitely be there when I get paid on the 29th.
I've been doing some more surveys so hopefully I'll get another £5 pay out from them soon.

I know it seems daft but the way I explain it to people is like this, think about football, you might not want to play it but enjoy watching it. You have your pub teams that don't have many people watching and don't make a lot of money (this is me!) Then you have your lower league teams, these are people that can make a wage out of it, be it a part time or full time one. Then finally, you have the premier league teams, these are people that have thousands of viewers, can make thousands sometimes tens of thousands a month and have sponsorship deals. Video games are very much misunderstood as being a waste of time but are actually very beneficial in that they can help with coordination, reading, maths and social skills. There's also no link to people being violent after playing violent video games, no more than movies and music.newgirly said:I still can’t get over getting paid for playing video games! 😁

A NSD for me, mainly because I was back at work!
The alarm this morning was horrifying and I didn't sleep well for fear of sleeping through it, so I'm pooped! Overall, a good day. There was me, my supervisor and another colleague in, all sat 2m+ apart. I was a little miffed because I could of worked from home but if I end up staying more than the 3 days I have been told before being furloughed again, I will ask about working from home a few days a week. I was there to see if people will allow our engineer to attend and carry out remedial repairs, but our health and safety manager has yet to put any safety procedures in place as to what our engineer is expected to wear ppe wise when attending properties. I advised the M.D. That there is no point in me contacting customers to arrange attendance dates if I can't provide details of how we're going to keep them and our engineer safe! He said he would chase it up, so we'll see what tomorrow brings!
Lunch was beans on toast and tea, pasta with garlic bread.
I'm feeling a bit more optimistic about the future now seeing that work still need me!
