Aww bless her! They are very pretty.
We've had another quiet day, unsurprisingly! The two puzzles arrived for my nan, I wiped them down with an anti bac wipe and even did the box they came in! She asked if we could deliver a loaf of bread too, so BF went off to the C0 0p. He came back with a loaf for my grandparents but wasnt allowed a second loaf for us, despite the shelves being full. I'll pop there tomorrow to see if I can get one and some eggs! If not, we'll be going to m0rris0ns.
Lunch was a jacket potato and tea was pizza.
I've been doing my surveys and swagbucks and was able to cash out a fiver today.
Time for season 3 of The Last Ship!

Day 6 (I think! 😂)
My usual mortgage payment of £353.21 has come out, taking the mortgage to £66,446.79. I made an overpayment of £46.79 (This hasn't reduced the term but has saved me £60 in interest). I'll see how we are doing towards the end of the month and what's going on in the world before I decide whether to make an overpayment when the monthly interest has been added on.
We had a trip to m0rr1s0ns, we had to queue outside for a bit before we could get in, they were only letting so many people in to the store at once, fair enough. BF went to grab a trolley and I screamed 'No!!!!!!' I swiftly got out my anti bac and wiped the handles. I think BF thinks I've gone mad!! Lol! The rest of the shopping trip went smoothly, we managed to get everything on the list, there was still a fair few bits that were sold out e.g. Pasta, toilet rolls, tinned stuff etc but nothing we needed. I have to say, I wish they'd only allow a certain amount of people in there all the time! We were able to get round so much quicker without people chatting in the aisles and getting in the way! We certainly won't need to go shopping again for a while.
When we got back there was a slip through the door telling us we'd missed a parcel, blooming typical! The one time we've been out in the past week! Looks like it was my flower window box, I've rearranged it for Friday and BF will have a job to keep him busy at the weekend. There's a local plant nursery which is delivering free on orders over £25, might see if my dad or grandad want anything so we can get an order.

Well, my nan has learnt how to video call on WhatsApp! Had a nice little chat and she has started one of the jigsaws I bought her but she has a black eye and a bruised/swollen cheek, I thought she'd had a fall in the house, nope, turns out she'd walked down to the end of her drive to clap for the NHS last night and had fallen on the walk back to the house. I gave her a good telling off for leaving the house when she could have just clapped from the porch doorway! She thought it was funny, like a naughty child being told off! Smh
I'm a little bit annoyed with Hermes at the moment, I have two orders being delivered through them, a sack of dog food and my bird feeder, both are running late! I've had other parcels through other couriers that have been delivered fine but not Hermes! BF is most upset because he used to be a courier for Hermes and says they are not doing things right. Bless him.
We got a weekly update from work saying how some people are still working from home which has irked me because I wasn't given that opportunity and although I would be working 40 hours a week for an extra 20%, the MSE in me wants that 20%! Still no date on when we'll be reopening though, although they are seeing if they can get 2m+ distancing in the factory where BF works so they can reopen asap.
The gas company came today and put all the cones and roadsigns next to the house ready to set them up and connect our gas next week. I had a call from them earlier this week asking if we still wanted it done and if it was urgent. I said of course! I paid £504 back in December, of course I still want it! Numpty! I can't wait to have the start of it done. I called the energy company about having the meter connected but they have since advised this will be postponed due to covid-19, so that and actually having the plumber come to install the boiler will have to wait but at least the process is starting.
We are now on season 4 of The Last Ship, there's just one more season after this one and then we'll start on Ballers with Dwayne the rock Johnson and The Handmaid's Tale (I've been putting this one off because it scares the living daylights out of me!)

A productive start to the weekend. Got up, walked the dogs, showered, cooked breakfast, washed up, cleaned out Winter the budgie, cleaned the house, sowed the zinnia and cosmos seeds I got free in one of my gardeners world magazines so they can got out in my flower box when big enough, tidied up my hanging basket, cleaned the windows outside and the house sign (a rude little bird had pooped on it!) And caught up with last night's gardeners world. I've spoken to my mum who has offered their garden to us tomorrow so that we can sit out in the sun for a bit and use their line to get our washing dry.
I think I'll make a start on my pigsaw this afternoon!

Wow Jessy, that’s a whole week of jobs there - you need to slow down! 😂
That’s good that you’ve got a chance to be in the garden too. I’ve just offered use of ours to some neighbours in the flats with a little boy. Doubt they’ll take me up on it, but the offer is there.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
