DH had a nice birthday, he was at work during the day and then had his haircut afterwards. He then thoroughly enjoyed his pizza and a slice of cake. I had a cleaning job after office job, but as he was having his haircut, we ended up getting home around the same time. Pizza, onion rings and a garlic bread came to about £30. There was that much of it though that we've ended up having it for tea tonight as well. 

I've had a cleaning job after office job today and DH is teaching his Karate classes. I got an email saying I had won on the postcode lottery, only £15, but still a nice surprise. It should be in my bank account within 28 days.

Work bestie is back tomorrow for half a day, I have missed her!

Nothing more overpaid on the mortgage yet with having DHs birthday but I have a 2hr cleaning job tomorrow and then 1hr one Saturday, so might be able to do a cheeky £50!

Lazy Saturday morning here. I have a cleaning job but not for a bit. We did want to get the last coat of paint on one of the external walls of the house but it's accessed by next doors garden and she's being an awkward madam again! I asked if we could go round for 10am, no can't do that but can do 10:30am. I said yes. Then I get another message saying they have to go out and we can't have access when they are not there because they have a puppy as well as their other dog now and they're both too nervous to have people in the garden when they're not around! 🙄 So we're not allowed round until 1pm now. It's only one wall which will take us about an hour, if that! I can't wait to move and block this woman forever!! I know it's a terrible thing to say but I hope the people that buy this house after us are...how should I put this... undesirable! You know the sort that has parties with loud music until the wee hours of the morning 😅

I got my little winnings from the postcode lottery so I decided to make the £50 op to the mortgage, it is now £9,850 🙂

We did indeed get it done, thank goodness! We were allowed to enter the fortress at 1:30pm and it took about 45 mins. It feels like a weight has been lifted though, we can finally put all the painting stuff away and take the ladder back to my parents house. 

We are going over to my  parents house in about an hour anyway as they have offered to get us an Indian takeaway as part of DHs birthday celebrations.
