We had a lovely meal at my parents house, followed by some birthday cake. Sunday was a nice relaxing day.
Yesterday was back to work, office job followed by a 2hr cleaning job. My customer had also asked if I'd pick up her prescription from the chemist for her on my way, which I did. I'm really hoping my helpfulness will result in enough good karma for the knock on the door by the postcode lottery lot with one of those giant cheques 😅
Today has been office job, followed by a 1hr cleaning job and then we've had the shopping delivered, which is us sorted for the next couple of weeks.
I have paid another £50 off the mortgage and the new total is £9,800. I'm hoping I can get another £100 off before payday next week 🙂Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Mortgage Free November 2025!10 -
My good karma did come around, unfortunately nota knock on the door with a giant cheque, but I won another £15!
I've had a busy week with cleaning jobs everyday after work and another 3 tomorrow morning. I'm tired but it's been worth it.
My customer tonight is going on holiday next week and wanted a slip to go under one of her dresses, I ordered it for her the other day and took it with me tonight. She was very pleased with it and we did a swapsy, she gave me some nice trainers that she'd only worn once but didn't love! They're primarni trainers so definitely not some I would buy as I can't stand the place, but they are quite nice and being as frugal as I am, I wasn't going to turn them down!
We are going to a quiz tomorrow night with my parents and their friend. It's at the local church hall and is to raise funds for the village Christmas lights, should be fun, although I can't say I've brushed up on my general knowledge 🤣Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000.
