morning guys!! had a busy day yesterday very work orientated!!!! the appointment was good yesterday, certainly worth giving up a sat afternoon for which is cool!!! was taken out for a meal by OH's mum and dad last night as his grandad is visiting which was really nice. managed to refrain from alcohol though!!! chose to drive instead!!!! ISOM the running is going well thanks, very windy and cold but is nice to get out there and get back thinking "woooo that was a good one!" or "must try harder!" have a look on the london marathon website, loads of training programs on there but be warned they do go on a lot about speed sessions and hill sessions, getting round the distance is enough for me!!
Well I have just cleaned my kitchen to within an inch of it's life and done as much in the lounge as i can for now. Trying to clean around OH ain't the easiest!!
Had a phone call from the guy aho did the spantaneous interview, he hadn't received my CV so had to send it across again, the MD is very interested apparently so hopefully i should hear something monday or tuesday, Not heard anything at all re DP from LL's brother so need to chase that today when i go to see him shortly.
    So today i have to
    1) go to tesco and do a big shop
    2) clean both bedrooms
    3) tempt OH into hoovering
    4) iron, lots of ironing!!
    5) see DP and take him for a stroll
    6) e-mail 2 clients with docs that they need.

gosh what a busy day!! best i shift my little butt and get on with it then!!

Glad i made you laugh ISOM, have a good day!!! xxx

Thats quite a list! Good on yer -btw, tho, when did we actually start the £20k by Dec 08 challenge? I do have minging little bits to put in, tho obviously I'm relying on other stuff........ sounds like you're still v pos, wonderful stuff. m.b.ing - I'm actually focussing on getting my i.d. docs in order, neither of them are good. What I will do, tho, is read the T&Cs of Coral - that seems to be the one that everyone starts off on, is that right?

    Hi P

Hey, you've done really well recently. What a bundle of energy you are! Hope today's list all gets done too:T

Good Luck for the job. They miust be idiots if they don't offer it to you:rotfl: .

By the way, who/what is DP from LL's brother:confused: . Have been trying to work it out but my poor old brain is a bit fuzzy this afternoon (not after a great boozy night either before you ask:rolleyes: ). Thought DP might be debt payment but not sure of the rest:o

DP is dear pony hon, my little 3 yr old welsh bundle of fun and LL is landlady, i'm sure your brain is neither old nor fuzzy, i wouldn't have understood it either if i hadn't have known what it meant!!

Thanks for the comments re energy!! working my way slowly through the list, will tick them off on here as they get done, amazing how a list motivates you isn't it!

Big hugs and have a grand day.

  • Thanks for that Pania. Sorry to be such a nosey-parker:o

I knew DP was your pony as I've read about him with interest and have even posted in your diary about him:rotfl: but I thought this DP was a different DP as the LL's brother bit didn't make any sense:o .

Haven't I got anything better to do in my sad little life than worry about abbreviations in someone I don't even know's diary?:rotfl:

    Have a good afternoon

Blimey, that's quite a list for a Sunday! *hangs head in shame at only managing quick run round Tesco and doing the dishes* Sounds very positive about the job, fingers crossed for you. xx

I was the bad tempered one grumbling about the fact that half the 'normal' food seems to have been replaced by Christmas stuff - no fish fingers anywhere!

I've had a pretty tough weekend to be honest, had long talk with OH yesterday which resulted in us almost splitting up but finally settling on us both taking a bit of a step back from everything - we'll still see each other but we're not making any long term plans anymore. Feel a bit emotionally battered but OK... just trying to concentrate other stuff like sorting my money situation out and what I want to do job-wise, planning to do things with friends such as holidays next year etc. Damn this time of year, it always seems to involve assessing how life's going!!

You're getting through that list really well.. hey, at least I don't have to iron anyone's shirts... :) xx

Squiz you have a pm hon. So so sorry to hear about OH and the problems you are having. It sounds asthough you do indeed have a lot to think about and sort out but i know that you will reach the end of this challenging time, look back with a wry little smile and realise that although it may have been tough you have got through it and are in a better place, emotionally, physically and financially as a result.

Ok so quick update, went upstairs to clean out bedroom and uncovered an ahem rather large mildew problem in the corner of the room previously covered up by tv and table covered in a cloth!! starting to get there though but i am shattered!!! soooo much to do and SCD is on is 30 mins!!! OH doing the typical man thing and doing absolutely NOTHING!!!! so the list is moving slower but atleast the B room will be finally done and sorted, it is my real bug bear and i hate going to bed in it at night so tonight will hopefully feel good!! onwards and upwards, back in half hour!
