Hey hon - just been catching up on your diary - hugs about your decision regarding your DP. If you do have someone in mind to sell him to, when will you be able to meet them etc to check them out? I can imagine it's an awful decision to make.

Morning all!!!! How we doing today then? just had a brief perusal of the diaries and there doesn't seem to be many people around!

Thanks for the message sea, hope you are ok to? the guy who is interested didn't call last night, hoping that he'll call tonight instead or i have someone else who has asked me previously that i HAVE met. I know that the other person has 2 ponies already that she is currently breaking in so is very experienced whereas this other couple it would be their first pony. I am ONLY going to let him got o someone that a) will do the best by him and b) agree firmly that he comes back to me no matter what when they need to part with him. That is my criteria.
So feeling more positive today which is fab, nearly back to my old self, have some work bubbling which is good including one which is going to be mortgage speed dating stylee and I have ten days off starting as of next week!! wooooooooooo

Maybe you'll be able to spend a little quality time with DP too while you still have him:j .

I was wondering if the fact that your first interested pony-wanter didn't phone was a good sign after all, because for some reason I just feel(from what you've told us) that DP would fare better with the one with the experience. There's a lot to learn(fast) when taking on a new pet and maybe the first one might find it all a bit much especially as DP has leg problems. Plus, DP might like the fun of being with other horses for a change.

no i completely agree Imp, not meddling at all. i'd rather he be with others too, the fostering that i was accepted for never took off and i'm glad because that would be 2 i'd have to part with. I may go see the experienced one today and have a word.
I have also come up with an alternate plan, ie, i agree to give them samson on permanent loan for a period of not less than 7 years (by time their DD would have grown out of him) unless they wish to return him first, or i suspect he is being mistreated. i'd still own him, they'd have a pony for their daughter and we'd all be happy, i'd just need to run it pas them and see what the response is. heres hoping hey!!

Can't wait for some time off, OH and i are going to visit certain family members in far away places with fuel catered for by the company car! house is going to be cleaned to within and inch of it's last brick and i can get in the run up to christmas in a lovely relaxed fashion. totally unheard of before!!

Hello P! Back online after my week of entertaining (for entertaining read girly chat, lots of food, wine and walking in mud ) and just caught up with your last few pages. Sounding good on the job front - you're in demand!! :beer: I'm sure you'll work out something with DP that's best for him and you, the loan thing sounds like a good idea so fingers crossed they go for that.

Bet you can't wait for your time off - having been off this week I've decided it's a great time of year to have a holiday, breaks up that long winter slog!

Hey hon, glad i caught you, just on my way out the door, the week with the girlie mate sounds fab, walking in the mud sounds like fun!!!

all is going well here and i feel v upbeat which is great!! would like to think i'm in demand, maybe i just put on a good show. he he.
