Hi Pania. I think you have made a really brave and selfless decision about your DP. I'm sure you will miss him and feel sad, but you are doing it for all the right reasons, and I hope that comforts you and keeps the regrets at bay."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hiya Pania
No, I don't regret selling him - I 100% know it was the right decision. I was off to Uni and couldn't afford to keep him. He went to a man who wanted to do cross country and i'd never pushed him enough so he had a ball. I visited him and even got a christmas card from him every year. He was very clever and managed a hoof print and kisses every year.
The only thing i'd say is - if it's just about money do all your sums and make sure you really can't afford him. If it's about what's best for him and you can't make more time for him then just make sure you really don't think you're doing enough for / with him. It might just be that you're not meeting your really high standards for him but in actual fact you might be doing more than most do.
Write it all down - don't make a rash decision. I took three months to decide and i'm glad i didn't rush into it.
Lemontree - hope you're cat is ok. Mine went to the vet for jabs today and we were told she was about 12! We only got her three years ago and were told she was 4 then! Now that's what I call aging! xxJanuary budget

morning peepys, well am feeling a little brighter today but still hiding in bed as it is yukky out!! apologies for the temporary glitch in positivity there but as the bubbly blogger briming with bouncebackability i shan't let it stop me and get back to positivity asap!!!
Thanks for the reply LJD, it isn't a money orientated decision as the little guy really is v cheap to keep, his field is free and he's as fat as butter right now so no feed related expenses needed!!! It really is for his welfare and I can tell i'm not doing enough as his leg is still locking regularly. He also needs to have fun, not be sitting in a field waiting for me to have time to spend with him. Still, the guy is calling me this evening so I will let you all know the outcome from there. You certainly were lucky with the buyer you found for your horse LJD, that as so sweet of him to send you a christmas card each year and i bet you felt so much better for knowing he was ok. :-)
Righty, so plan for the day is as follows.
1) check banking to see if coral money has gone back in.
2) if so put 8.24 in debt repayment account and knock it off the total (hey don't laugh, every little helps!!)
3) DO some work and get site reports over before midday
4) go out to bury st edmunds to do some prospecting
5) go to the orange shop somewhere to pay my mouldy phonebill and hand my old phone in for £100 cashback
6) contact job guy re CV and apologise that work has taken over last couple and he will have it first thing in morning!!
7) finish ironing and tidy bedroom, yawn boring
8) go for a run.
Gosh thats a busy day, tell me again why i'm sloughing it in bed!!! :-)

Morning Pania. That must have been a very difficult decision to make about DP, how heart breaking. But you will always be happy to know that you were there to rescue him when he needed it and gave him a good start in life.
Great news about the possible new job! Remember there are other companies out there so you don't need to accept the very first offer unless it feels right.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Hi Pania
Really positive news about the job hunting and although it is sad news about DP, you are being kind to him and putting him first so it is not a selfish decision to make. As you say, it isn't about money with him anyway.
Have a lovely day
