Hi Pania
I just caught up with your diary, hun, so sorry to hear about your decision to let DP move on. But if you were sometimes avoiding seeing him, you know that thats gone too far.... Its brave of you to face the issue and focus on what's best for him, I admire that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks Karma, I was avoiding seeing him at times as it wrenched my heart out to know that I was causing him pain by loving him and keeping him. it's like today i am dreading going to see him as i know i've made my decision and it will upset me but i have to look after him still.
Anyway, I really really do have to go out, cannae be mithered but have to none the less!!!
come on, out young lady OUT!!!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
okley dokely, wee tad of a set back here, but being Panias positive progress i can see poisitive in it so all good(ish)
Had an e-mail from my MD today, he wants paperwork for my "financial standing review" (as i'm going to rip off customers due to being in debt) by friday, up to date balances the lot.
Sooooooooo, have been calling round my creditors for up to date balances and have even increased some payments slightly to them woooo!!! :T But..... it would appear that my balances haven't been coming down quite as quickly as i thought, no idea why as i had my starting balances and have just deducted my monthly payments from that each month, and it looks asthough once again i'm back to just over 28k.
BUT, and heres the positive, atleast i know what the score is now AND atleast i'm still sub 30k!!!!
Had my pay statement for Decembers pay to which we receive on 20th december, was very nice and i should have quite a large whack to come off then to get it back down again. :T
So balances stand as follows.
Nationwide loan 14905.72
halifax credit card 2379.71
Halifax Loan 1341.25
Nationwide CC 1280.30
Training debt 1490
so balance on these alone 21396.98
plus welcome finance and northern rock makes the grand total £27971.98
ok, so still under £28k which is fab, just not quite as under as i was!!
dreading handing the paperwork to the boss though, I may well have to post a copy of the letter on here so you can review it before sending.
off to update the sig....debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Well thats weird about the balances! Has the interest amount been more than you thought? Thats all I can think of, apart from dizzy blonde things....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Nope, the interest has remained frozen allegedly!!! have asked them al to send updated statements out though so i can see exactly what is going on!!
Dizzy blonde? blame the anaesthetic hon!! xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
OMG I would die if I had to do that at work :eek:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Thats a good idea about the statements. Hope it works out that they've made a mistake, to your benefit....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

yep it isn't very pleasant spud and I don't think i have a thing to prove to them, FSA fot and proper persons test only includes CCJ's etc, not historic defaults of nearly 4 years!!!
Right just off to hit the road and have a run, is raining bliss!!!! good job my london marathon rain jacket arrived this am!! gosh get me miss poshy boots!!
I had to make a DFW decision today which has worked very well!!!
The company that had offered me a place in the marathon wanted £100 upfront within the next 28 days, now as any DFW will know, that kinda money 2 weeks before christmas in a DFW household just ain't happening!!!
So today I applied to Spinal research, so a company still very close to my heart and behind the reasons that I wanted to raise money, but they only wanted £50 upfront which i luckily had and they accepted me immediately on receipt of my application form! So I've been able to still run the marathon for a very similar worthy cause and save myself £50 n the process....
Now wheres that Just Giving page gone..... :-)
And now i have finally put some money into it it means i have to do it!! gulp!! wish me luck!!! :-)debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hiya Pania
Glad you've got things straight in your head about DP. Hugs to you. Saving money on your marathon entry was good. Let me know your addy for donations when you're up and running (excuse the pun)! I won't be able to give much but it's a charity close to my own heart so every little bit helps. Hope you're not out running in the rain xxJanuary budget
