Good to see positive thinking and positive action.
They can't keep a good woman down! Everything crossed that something comes along soon - even if not the ideal but to give you some breathing space.

The police work sounds great for you. How would the income compare with what you are earning at the moment? Even if it's slightly less, the regular pay/no reliance on commission would probably be a major benefit I would think?
Have you considered other financial-type jobs? I know you might be concerned about applying for those sorts of roles because of the credit checks, but if you spot something you fancy, you could always ring them and ask them outright if it is worth you applying.
Mortgage underwriting is great fun......:rotfl:

Good luck with the job hunting! Maybe it'll be better for you in the long run to be away from a somewhat oppresive/insensitive workplace anyway? The financial hoops you had to go through were scary (not to mention the random contract changes)! ((((Hugs)))) again and remember you are a strong, intelligent, hardworking, worthy, amazing woman who deserves the best. Go get that job... whatever it is... :TMortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Thanks guys. Yes it is more basic than i am on now but less than commission, but to be honest the loss of petrol requirement and the pressure of commission would make it more than worth it and provide me with security and peace of mind instead.
