New me New start, Pania's positive Progress!

I'm just peeping in, amid an all-nighter baking sesh for a Leaving Celebration at our Charity tomorrow.
Perhaps this is what's setting me thinking even more of you, pania(and hypno, who may be with you still. As several have said, WE are lucky that she's close by, along with you)as I ponder recipes(most of which - may I add - will have Milk Chocolate in a starring rôle, as befits one of X's favourite ingredients. I'm tempted to try the giant j.c!)
The reason is this: X, having made a sound and sustained progress in recovering a Life, is now moving onto another stage. Nothing is certain, but support is strongly, if unobtrusively, present, should it be needed or wanted.
Saying Goodbye in this way is one of the gladly-sad successes of the organisation.
We all wish X well, sensing also a certain tremulousness, trepidation even, accompanying the acknowledged need and readiness to move on.
The framework may differ, but the picture's not dissimilar.
I'm linking all the strength of purpose which X has shown, to be in that present place, to your present place and situation, p.
On this basis, you have the powerful and proven gift of pure choice, fashioned uniquely by your own will from your own potential.
The world really is yours now p.
Wonderful things are out there - and I'm not forgetting that you're on the dfw Thread. I just think you're on your way now(hiccups notwithstanding) - as is mot, as is bluemonkey.
Bless you tonight especially, as you enter this new phase.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

The birds are up and singing, actually being rather rowdy, pania......me,too - but not singing.
All night baking mostly done and bits of assemblage are the next stage, with sweet and savoury fillings and melted choc glac! icing to do.
I have thought of you throughout and diverted a few dark angels.
A small hour's pause, then to resume.
Hope you've had some sleep, some peaceable dreams and more of Hypno's good company/ear/shoulder/heart.

Hi guys - I am sure P won't mind me posting.......
Well, a bit of online searching has given P some ideas for jobhunting.....one has a closing date of today so that is her priority. Some are not what she would have thought about doing, but it is giving her the opportunity to broaden her thinking a bit, and not rule anything out, on the basis that if you don't apply you won't know type thing.
Obviously broadband has been disconnected already so this is a bit of a stumbling block. But she knows she is always welcome here, and there are a couple of other places in reasonable easy reach where the internet is available too.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thanks for the update Hypno. Glad there are possibilities out there. Tell pania we are all rooting for her.0

Thanks so much hypno - can p consider adding broadband herself just yet?
I know everyone will have their own recommendation/horror story about providers, but I'm v. happy with one that Martin recommended here - Primus - not least because their FREEPHONE 0800-036-3839 no for ANYTHING, contains the Magic Ingredient, Real People!, in Glasgae. The rate's v. competitive and gives me a 1/2 yearly cashback, too. Helpful AND COMPETITIVE packages are available.
I haven't read any serious no-no's for them.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Hi Pania,
Just spotted on Hypno's thread about your redundancy news. Good luck with the job hunting.
OH has been made redundant a couple of times, and he's ended up with jobs he enjoys more and financially it's been beneficial too. So it's not necessarily bad in the long run, although it's nerve wracking at the time.
Based on his experience it's been a case of treating the job hunting as a full time job. He did concentrate on permanent jobs, but did also apply for temporary. So it might be worth looking at temporary if there aren't many suitable permanent jobs around.
Hope there are lots of nice jobs to apply for.0 -
:hello: :grouphug: Oh, Pania, I'm so sorry about this. I posted on hypno's thread yesterday for you, as thats where you were, but just logging on to your thread too to support you. You know about free internet access in libraries, right? It may have to be booked, but in smaller places, you can often walk in and use it.
Best of luck for today, I hope one of the opportunities you're pursuing comes up trumps right now.

Huge Hugs Pania, I'm so sorry to read your news. I really and truly hope you can seize the positive from it though, it has given you a chance to start completely afresh. This can be classed as day one, you will find so many opportunities once you look and just seize them.
You are such a kind and thoughtful person only good things will happen to you
