Yep still feeling positive!!! found an addy for a trainee financial advisor position working in a bank not so far from here, Must be fully cemap qualified which i am. much much MUCH higher basic than i am on right now and a company car too. I feel i'm qualified to do it just need to get my inner courage to agree!!!will put out some feelers on monday. :p hope that you get the news you want in time for chrimbo LT, atleast then it won't be hanging over your head and you can relax and enjoy the christmas season.

Poor DP will be very very nice and dry actually in his new snug as a bug in a rug rug! I actually used him as a hand warmer when i was up there yesterday he was so snug and warm! was hoping to take him out for a nice long walk today but need to see if it stops raining first.

KC and GTD you can use my brain anytime! You sound like you had a fab time in london KC, the world money show sounds really interesting, would like to hear about that *P pops to KC's diary expectantly!*

and please guys stop talking about chocolate!!:rotfl: don't you know that you have a commited marathon runner in training here (:o )who is trying to refrain from chocolate munching! good christmas is going to be soooo hard!! Read in runners world today that the average turkey dinner contains 1820 calories and 47.7g of fat!! hey blow it, it's only one day I say!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Fab news on the free choccies duchy, is great when you complain nicely isn't it! still chuffed about my refunded hotel room, still waiting for the money back but will be very handy when it comes!

Oh I missed the free hotel post will go back and look that up. Hilton are giving me grief at the moment messed up once gave me 2000 points and have now messed it up again. I also got £10 in Wilkinsons vouchers in the post yesterday (in addition to the free duvet cover and sheet they gave me for the same mess up). Sounds like I've had a professional complainers week but I honestly haven't. Didn't even ask Woolies for compo when they double charged my card yesterday and I had to trudge back into town to get it taken off.

Its not a driving sat nav but a running one! Calculates how far you've gone, heart rate etc and you then get withn range & it uploads it all automatically! Can also set timers so I know 1 min walk/run etc as it will tell me (when I've sussed the instructions!). Although...I do also have a tomtom which may actually explain why I never have any money!! Mind you with my job it really does come in handy as I have no sence of direction & have to go all over the country!
Thread hijack over! Def think you're doing the right thing with the job & local one sounds great - just go for it! If you get it great if you dont then think of it as interview experience!
As for chocolate I am happy to join you in a healthy eating kick challege - weighed mysef & have put on 1/2 stone & must shift it so if you're up for it so am I...although that leaves me with a dilemma about the marxipan in the freezer!! Come on now pepys, our P is doing the LONDON MARATHON, no talk of chocolate, however yummy it may be! Loved the quote though!! Definately a case of scewed logic! A bit like my red wine is good for the heart one! Well it has been proven hasnt it!! Ok must on, hoovering to do! Hugs P...let me know if you're up for a foodie challenge!

Ooh that's great that you've seen a job that looks promising already! I agree with Lemon Tree, you're brilliant at giving advice on here and I'm sure that translates in real life & you'd be fab at the job.

Have almost finished housework frenzy despite not getting to bed till 5.30am :o Sooo looking forward to my mate coming, I haven't seen her for a few months so loads to catch up on - and it will be fairly DFW, doing free stuff like walks and galleries, and I've checked out when local bars etc have 2 for 1s on so we can have some nice evenings out but not spend too much. Now please remind me of this statement at the end of the week when I've emptied my bank account :rotfl:

    Have a lovely Sunday xx
