Wow pnia, big news on the job decision. It's brilliant when those decisions just happen and feel right. Your life would certainly be much easier without all those hours driving. Good luck!

Doesn't a Terry's Chocolate orange count as one of your 5-a-day?

    *shakes head despairingly*

    Guys, now listen carefully......

Chocolate - made from the cocoa bean - beans count as one of your five a day.

Chocolate orange - made of beans and oranges - hence TWO of your five a day.

Sheesh, did no-one ever teach you about nutrition??

Hi Pania. I think the decision to look for a new job is a really sensible one. As others have said, you have to take care of the things that are important, like your loved ones, and your sanity, and if driving such huge distances has been putting a strain on you, and you can afford to NOT do it, then that's fantastic. Good luck with the job hunt.

    I have TOO Much chocolate.
Tescos in their infinite wisdom today decided that 2 boxes of Black magic 210 g was an acceptable substitution for 2 Terrys All Gold (dark) 450g boxes-as they were the same price. I thought otherwise-called CS and got a refund and to keep the chocs (420g of FREE choclate been far more MSE than 900g of paid for chocolate :) )
Go get 'em Pania-that ideal but local job is out there just waiting for you

Hiya! Still positive! go Pania!

Stuff moves fast on here, doesn't it? :rotfl: at all the comments about chocolate - I wish, I so wish, I could follow through with action. Been away for a couple of days (from mse, not away-away) - lots of work in London, and then up again on Saturday to go to the World Money Show (will post on my diary later on that) - really pleased about the food, I only took a little pack of oatcakes with me, was sure I'd be eating horrible cr*p, but it was brill - I went out to a benjy's, & had a huge jacket potato with only a little tiny bit of butter, which was only £2, so very mse as well, especially for central London, and the oatcakes and a packet of peanuts on the way home. Nothing I'm allergic to/intolerant of, except tiny butter pat, v pleased!

GTD - you're not letting me down! We're both busy, and we haven't found free time together yet, thats all! And, um, its coming up to Christmas now! I'd like to try something before Xmas, to be truthful - I'll contact you, GTD...

Pania -  could I borrow your m.b. brain via pm sometime this week too please? I've got the separate current a/c and betfair a/c set up, just need to find the right bookie and the right bet now....

Have a good day - hope DP isn't too soggy at the mo, its *very* wet out there....

    Hi Pania
I've had my meeting to 'express' my interest in a job i've not seen a job description for (that's HR for you). Ulitmately they say we'll all know by the end of Jan, but i'm hoping i'll get told at the next stage that i've been slotted into the job and that will be it. Then it's just a case of making the new structure work. Overall such a nice christmas present. Last time i was made redundant it was two weeks before christmas so i'm getting flash backs at the moment. :(

Snaggles you forgot another nutritional benefit of chocolate! Calcium it's full f milk therefore good for our bones!
