It's not bad at all - am off work this week, got a friend coming to stay tomorrow for a few days which should be good fun. Planning lots of walks, nice meals and visits to Christmas markets. I just have to fit in a night out tonight and a mad tidying frenzy of the flat tomorrow before she arrives, should have done some of that tidying today but I'd forgotten how fast the afternoons fly past when you've got internet :o :rotfl:

Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

  • Good luck with the job-hunting p. I've not had time to look at matched betting - I feel like I'm letting KC down a bit as a mb-buddy...

Hope the weekend is going well

big decision Pania but i can understand it, when it gets to the stage where you are feeling that you are paying them to let you work for them it's time to look at your options. I'm sure there will be something closer to home. I'm still hoping to come out of my companies reorganisation with a job, maybe it's me keeping my head in the sand but i really hope not and i do like it there. I'm not completely sure about the new role but a job is a job.

Yep i definately agree that the afternoon flies past when your "browsing the internet" oh ok then!! browsing MSE!! Just been up to see DP and god is it cold. He sure is appreciative of his new rug love him!!
Your weekend with your friend sounds great Squizz, is it going to be particularly DFW? me suspects not with visiting buddies!!

Thanks for the wishes re the job guys, I guess I miss human interaction during the day and can just imagine me having my own little office in a financial advisors somewhere, there are loads in the townlet (like a town only much much smaller but bigger than a village if you catch me drift) that I live in so hoping that I can find somewhere that I can walk to work of a morning, not worry about fuel bills or the dammed mobile phone and not have to drive 2000 miles per month or have people on my back all the time.

To tell you the truth if 3 weeks ago someone had said to me one saturday you will wake up feeling so much better than you do now, positive and able to cope with making big decision, the fog will have lifted and you'll have a new lease of life i'd have said piffle. Where all this has come from i've no idea, I'm not on anti depressants i'm not on "uppers" it's just happened and I thank god that it has.

Lemontree i really do hope that something truly fabby comes out of your work reconstruction, even if that is you being offered a job with a payrise that you really enjoy, esp if you like it where you are. When will you know for definate what the situation is there? any ideas?

GTD if you need a hand with the matched betting just PM me, mor ethan happy to help, sometimes time and cash flow can get in the way.

Going to get ready for a run before settling down with the ironing board and strictly coming dancing for the eve. OH is currently soundo on the sofa and has been for 3 hours, he'll definately be up at 2 in the morning!!!

HI P, hows it going? Did you have a good run?

I'm snowed under with work still and need to clear as much as possible before we close for Xmas, but otherwise fine.

Am !!!!!! off at the mo, put snooker table on ebay for buy it now, someone has but they live in Huddersfield and I'm in Prestatyn. I don't think they'll be paying or collecting! MUPPETS! they have no feedback score either so doesn't bode well. hmmm shall I relist it now or wait for a bit?
