what is so wrong with you that you deserve to be treated second best to everything?

    My dear pania -
Had I had the SLIGHTEST inkling that this was the darker depth and shape of things when we met last week, I would have given you the talking to that you would be giving ANYONE else who reported such utterly self-flagellating, emotionally blackmailing, manipulative words against herself.
(Again I recall a petulant line from Doris Lessing in 'The Golden Notebook' - 'You are unmanning me.']

    This cannot continue pania.

You do realise that you are trying to clear two debt-loads here, don't you?
    - one in £s, the other in self-respect.
You know what is happening each time, but - as we DID say - it's the Woman Thing that makes us return for more, in optimism, triumph of hope over experience, leap of faith, against better judgment ........dear girl, the very fact that Life and Literature abound in such aphorisms should convince you this is a well-worn path.

If you want your new Thread to be true to ITself, so must YOU be to YOURself.

.........all written with accompanying hugs, of course.fluffy.gif
    #############
Have now read to end, but same concerns remain - with very real recognition of, and respect for, your feelings for OH and what has been and sometimes still is.
Is it enough? For either of you?
You could meet each other, debt-free, some time down the line and find the spark re-kindled, unencumbered..............it's a thought.
But then again, pania, you could be in New Zealand by then.jump.gifthumbsup.gifveryhappy.gifwave.gifapplause.gif
Can i just say- what a wonderful way you have of putting things! I think it is advice that i will take myself.
So true about The Aphorisms of life as well-goes off to mull over the depths-Thankyou, although i know it was meant for Pania xx

oh crikey peeps you've al just made me cry!!! thanks for the kind, and oft times thought provoking comments.

Just wanted to log on quickly and say i'm still here, plodding my way through things and am doing ok. is helping that work has gone loco moloco the last couple of days as is keeping me veeeery busy and taking my mind off stuff.
I know what i need to do it's just working a plan out to do it. but with all of you guys being there for me I know i'll get through it fine.

I've managed to save nearly £500 now and if i don't use that in april with the slack pay month then it could go someway towards a deposit on a flat (although spending money for a month in NZ is also sounding appealing.;) )

I've decided to that i need things to look forward to more, more time away more doing stuff i enjoyed so although tis naughty will allow myself a small budget for that per month to so I have more things to look forward to.

once again thanks for all the lovely comments, I won't directly answer the questions if thats ok as some of them are quite deeply personal but they have provoked alot of thought.

best get on with some work i guess... yawn!!! (but tea and toast first me thinks... see you all soon
    Big hugs

In haste as must off to a course but just wanted to send a hug for the day ahead. Not naughty to allow money for a bit of fun - one thing I increasingly realise is that us DFW's arent very good with balance & possiby thats where we go wrong! Also an excellent idea to save for a deposit! :) Hope you have a good day!
