Does OH know that you're only hanging on for these few months till you can go?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hi squirrel, sorry for delay, bath, cooked tea then back to work again!! Yep he sure does know. We have discussed the situation so many times and he knows that i want to go. He keeps making last ditch efforts to be really lovely and the perfect OH, the last 2 days he has been lovely, but then the leopards spots will out and he'll go back to exactly as he was before with a day like today. No matter how lovely things are in the meantimes it is this that stops me from making a real effort to make it work. We are both hanging out til the situation is better and until we can do it properly. Don't get me wrong we have days where we are very close, and i really wish we could be together always but this brings us back down to earth with a bump. I'm not an angel, I wouldn't pretend to be. I have my moments where i snap back but would never consider calling him the things he does me. and it hurts. badly. Ayway this page started off really positive so i shall go back to that now, rant and moan over.
2 x amazon books posted and gone yay!! I have £60 left until payday in nearly 8 days time! that will go quick! (the 8 days, not the £60!) and atleast half a tank of fuel in the car. work is coming in thick and fast now so although february will be incredibly lean we should be business as usual with mega overpayments come march!!
Off to feed DP, poor little fella will wonder where on earth i am!!
Back soooooooooooooooooooon!!

hi Pania
Congrats on getting your debt down and for seeing the £24k mark approaching so fast. I know how good i feel now that mine is sub £40k though will feel better next month after it stays below that number. I know that sounds confusing but i take into account savings accounts etc as a net position, there's not a huge sum in them but we did some wedding spending over the weekend.
I dream of the days that i get to your debt figure, it would be lovely to even get my debt below my salary, which i should do before the end of the year. Possibly even before i become a Mrs which will be a good feeling.
Next question - how easy is it to put books on Amazon? i've got loads of books and haven't even tried it yet. Got the hang of ebay but not listed any books yet.0 -
Hi Lemon Tree. Selling books on Amazon is REALLY REALLY easy. Much easier than ebay. You just find the book (check you have the right edition) and click the 'sell yours here' button on the right of the page. Enter a description and set your price and that's it. There are lots of tips on the Amazon thread here but it's really easy so don't be daunted. Good luck!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hey that's a good amount to have before payday, and even better that you know you've got a good month to come in March
Must have a look at Amazon selling, only sold books on Greenmetropolis (which is easy but not hugely profitable). Don't really like getting rid of books but I'm sure there's a few I don't want hanging round here!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
sorry Oh being a so & so...:( Great news on the positivity & debt going down. Go for it! Plus with teh dog walking you could turn it into dog running & kill two birds with one stone!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

hi lt and squizz, the only draw back with amazon is the fees but you get much more than selling them in a charity box i guess!! as seaxwyn says it is very easy just follow the instructions and away ya go!!!
pretty chuffed at having that left over. esp have managed to save £400 in bank of mum and have £60 left! have just under half a tank so may need to top up a little but no massively long journeys planned thank goodness. but it was a rather decent pay packet last month! end of year an all that.
how is everyone else doing with this massively long gap between paydays?debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
