No one (as far as I can tell) has claimed a Remain vote was a vote for integration.
Well, no, they wouldn't, would they? It would have lost the campaign instantly.

The difference is that the Remain campaign really wasn't a vote for further integration. No-one claimed it at the time & no-one has suggested it since.

Why do you think the Leave campaign denied that there was any chance of leaving without a deal?

The only people mentioning No Deal was the Remainers when they were warning against it. That was the start of "Project Fear" remember?

I voted remain, I knew what I was voting for but I also knew the disruption coming out of the EU would potentially cause. Repeatedly, May said that No deal doesn't mean it's a bad deal.

Theresa May did not say anything like that until long after the referendum. That cannot in any way have influence the way anyone voted (except maybe Mystic Meg)

For the reasons I set out.

The Soviet communists didn't claim they would murder millions of their people either. Funny, that.

You believe bad things about foreign politicians without evidence, you don't believe bad things about our politicians when the evidence is staring you in the face.

Our politicians are terrible but at least there is some accountability, although most of them are running away from that.

What do you mean "at least"?

Most of them aren't, because otherwise Boris wouldn't be such a loser. You run away from accountability by making sure there is an election before an event that will change peoples opinions of your policy. Not by standing up for your responsibilities. The conservatives loyal to Boris have abandoned their duties.

EU parliament can't propose new law.

Deal if any still needs to be ratified. Issue of Gibraltar still remains unresolved for one. Vested interests lie everywhere.

Right, they come from national governments. The European parliament then amends it and votes on it.

MEP's are like an elected house of lords. So more democratic than us.

So the Brexit prevention/extension law has passed.
But.. Boris has stated he won't be the one to go to Brussels with the extension begging bowl.

    An election is also blocked.

What will happen if Boris says: There may be a new law, but I'm simply going to lie in a ditch instead of going to Brussels.

What will Parliament do about that? Demand an election? :D:D
