If you have any further information that you would like me to consider regarding this PCN, please do not hesitate to forward it to me at this email address.
Ask why they appointed a notorious firm of aggressive ex-clampers who sue people at the drop of a hat, and who were named and shamed in Parliament in 2018.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well, apparently they didn't like my last letter, as they ignored it and issued a claim form instead, which I have now received so now it gets serious and I am trying to stay cool.

Somehow some magic numbers have been added to the claim too. I read somewhere that a claim form should merit a new thread, but I dont want to do that unless someone thinks I should? Don't want to add clutter to the board, but if it helps I will do that. Thanks for any advice

Please continue on this thread. One incident - one thread.

With a Claim Issue Date of 17th July, you have until Monday 5th August to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox file linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.

Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 19th August 2019 to file your Defence.

That's over a month away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:
      Print your Defence.
    1. Sign it and date it.
    2. Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    3. Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    4. Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
    5. Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
    6. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to keep you under pressure.
    7. Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.

    That's just wishful thinking.

    Crack on with your defence.

Is it better to do the AOS by post or electronically?
Please re-read post #84 above - on your very own thread.

Please stop asking questions and actually read the guidance you are being freely given.

    Hello,

Hope it's going well with your defence.

I just wondered if you got any further with finding out if the Car park had signs at the entrance in 2015? I seemed to have come to a dead end in trying to find this one out.

"Please re-read post #84 above - on your very own thread." - Sorry, you're right. My head is all over the place at the moment (not just due to this). I can't believe I had forgotten you'd said that already. Again, apologies and I know how annoying that must be. Will do as you advised.

"Hope it's going well with your defence." - Not sure yet as haven't written it! But you picked a good time to post on here, as I have just opened a pack from BWL which came in the post today. It has photos of signs from July 2015 and these show the entrance signs were present then.
