OP hasn't actually said he/she has an account with Lloyds.
Presumably not, otherwise they would have been able to pass telephone security and access OLB:cool:

Ok, been working away but have come home early to get my passport to use as ID in a Lloyd’s branch tomorrow. I don’t have a Lloyd’s account so couldn’t pass the telephone security. Will find out more tomorrow.
Yourmoneyinsights have emailed me confirming cancellation of dd and removal of my details from their records. Refusing to comment any further.
My bank has said that I “probably” won’t be liable for any money obtained by fraud as I have reported it to Lloyd’s, my bank and eazycollect.
I haven’t reported to action fraud yet as bank suggested I wait until I have called in and checked with Lloyd’s.
I’ll do an update tomorrow after visiting Lloyd’s.0 -
I still don't quite understand why this fraudster was so stupid as to use your real e-mail address to set up this subscription on the website.
I also note that you have failed to respond to any of the quite legitimate questions asked. Why would a fraudster who had gone to all the trouble of opening a bank account in your name be stupid enough to use your real e-mail address?
If the fraudster has in fact opened this account with Lloyds in your name, how did the fraudster manage to get cards, PIN etc for the account?0 -
You’ve got me on that, no idea.
I asked the same question and eazycollections said the May have already had my email on file for another dd for the gym or similar. But I have never had an email from them before so yes, it does seem odd.
Sorry I failed to respond as only caught up with this after a 350mile drive at 1am and missed your comment.I still don't quite understand why this fraudster was so stupid as to use your real e-mail address to set up this subscription on the website.
