  • Got into debt when I was 30, I'm 39 now & will be debt free in a couple of months, without any help from this site although I'm sure I'd have been debt free sooner if I'd known about the site earlier.

Hi, I'm 20. I have had two student loan payments - but I don't have to pay them back until I leave Uni in a year and a half.

I think my student loans mean I'm in between £8,000 and £10,000 in debt.

At the moment I'm on a placement year, and I'm earning, so I hope to save enough for my final year so I won't need another student loan - see my sig.

I have no idea when I'll be able to clear that off - heopfully within three years of leaving Uni - so maybe when I'm 25?!

I'm 28 and have been in bad debt (not inc student loans!!) since i was 21 - funny how it seems like so much longer :) Major debt resulted from overspending from moving in with bf and then having first child, getting married and then having second child and relocating up north! :)

So glad I found the site...

I'm 35 and got in debt 10 years ago when i moved here and had to buy a car and set up home in rented accomodation. I'm determined to be free of debt by the end of 2011, and will then tackle the mortgage.

I'm 40. I've been in debt since I was 25 when I went a bit stupid and stopped paying my mortgage for a bit.

I aim to be debt free by the age of 45.
