Very possible, due to severe shortage of psychiatrists in UK that OP sees a different Locum Psychiatrist each time they go along for an appointment. (If appointments are say, 3-6 monthly), so will not be sure who they are going to see.
That was my experience of working in a CMHT latterly.
Or psychiatrist may be as you suggested transgender.0 -
As someone who has dealed with Mental Health and DVLA (I am on Mirtazapine) you must declare it to the DVLA. They will send a form, and will write to your GP for their opinion. Even though Mirtazapine can cause drowsiness at first I got a letter saying they have no restrictions on me driving a car or a motorbike on it.
It's nothing scary, they deal with it professionally and confidentially.
If you don't and have an accident then your insurer may decline to pay out on a policy based on it.
Being sectioned isn't a criminal offence nor is it anything to do with your driving record.
But I would suggest you drive with an instructor, if you have hardly driven0
