It might be worth you doing an SOA. You have a high income (£46.5K after tax), so must have big outgoings.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

My wife does work but she has two options which pay similar wages roughly £1000-£12000 per month after tax. We don’t have any assets as such a car each which would be worth maybe £2000 each car so nothing that would make a big dent.
Is a statement of affairs just an in goings and out goings sheet?0 -
