Well honestly what a day!  Rang the garage and booked it in but can’t look at it until 12th May!!  Told me it would be £156 just to do the diagnostics 🤦‍♀️. Anyway started thinking and googling while in the dentist waiting room.  I had this loss of pulling away power once before not long after I got the car and it was when my petrol light had come on; filled it up and issue disappeared.  I’d got down to one bar on Wednesday and problem appeared on Thursday.  According to the web……you shouldn’t let your fuel get too low as the debris from the bottom of the tank can get into the fuel filter cap.  Anyway short version is I put petrol in at lunchtime, lights gone off and drives lovely.  I’ll be cancelling the garage on Monday.  Dentist prodded and scraped and charged me £55 for the pleasure 🦷.  As I felt all used up by the end of work we popped to the supermarket and got pizza and drinks for tea and then I watched Gardeners World.  Feeling much more relaxed now 😁

I have been doing MB since 2018 and I have made a lot - you make more at the beginning with the sign up offers but I now on average make approx £450 pm (tax free) on mb and casino offers as you lose bookie accts over the years

I use outplayed and they have a free trial and great help / videos to teach you as I also started a complete beginner . You can also just call them on specific issues and they will show you step by step how to do each offer

they have a referral as well if you then join up after 30 days we both get £30 - I have dm’d you the code but no pressure
Using someone like that also means you get zero commission on Smarkets and Matchbook another betting exchange
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Busy weekend!  It was Winston’s 3rd birthday on Saturday so we went to our favourite doggie cafe for lunch then we did the local scarecrow walk in the afternoon.  He even got a phone call in the evening from the rescue rehoming kennels to wish him a happy birthday.  Today we have been swimming and tomorrow I’ve said I’ll take my son to see the Minecraft film.  I’ve been sorting out a few bits to try and sell.  We have a dedicated slack channel at work for selling stuff so I’m going to put some stuff on this evening.  Mainly games, books, garden stuff but I found some shelf brackets under the stairs.  I only go onto campus on a Tuesday so I’ll put the bits in the car and then if anyone wants anything I’ll have it with me.  I know there is more stuff but I can do another listing later on.  I might even do a small charity shop drop tomorrow as well for some books and dvds.  I’ve also cancelled my national trust renewal and requested my carers ticket for the outdoor cinema screening of Grease in August so more things off my list.  I’ve even managed to make a cake in amongst this and we still have homework to do!  Feeling quite exhausted reading this back 🤣

Minecraft film was actually ok, most importantly my son loved it.  Popped onto work website to book my parking for tomorrow and I’ve sold 3 things already and nobody is in work today.  I’ve just filled my boot with all the stuff so if anybody wants anything tomorrow I’ll have it with me.  That engine warning light has come on again 🤦‍♀️. It was on for less than 24 hours and then off for 10 days.  I drove over a speed bump at the supermarket and it came on again!  Looks like you can book for a diagnostic at ATS and Kwikfit for around £80 which is half of the quote I had before.  It had a major service at the end of March and is only 2.5 years old.  I upgraded to prevent car repairs as my old car was coming up 14 years old; should have known better.

Is it still under warranty if it's less than 3 years old?

No warranty ☹️. I bought it from motorpoint second hand so it only came with their 3 month warranty; I think that’s why they sell them cheaper 🤷‍♀️.  I’m assuming it’s nothing too major 🤞due to its full service 6 weeks ago.  It drives ok and sounds ok.  I’ll have to drive it to work tomorrow but given its track record the light might not be on again!  Apparently loose electric connections or a petrol cap not screwed on tight enough can make the lights come on.  The fact I’d just gone over a speed bump (as we came down and hit the road the beeping and light came on) makes me think it’s something loose but there again I ain’t no mechanic just a wishful thinker 🤣
