Made another OP of £215 bringing November to a total of £415. As I’m going onto a new 10% overpayment limit which for the first time I will reach I’d worked out £415 a month should do it. Monthly shopping budget came in under target so very pleased. I’m not going mad for Christmas as only the two of us and quite frankly the boy will eat anything. I need a new car battery but I got such a good deal on my car insurance the money saved from that will pay for it. All the Christmas shopping for presents is done and only a few things still to wrap. I’ll start writing cards this weekend as it’s a job I don’t really enjoy doing. Hopefully then I won’t have the normal rush to write and get in the post. Fingers crossed everyone is keeping safe and well 🙂SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)6

New car battery bought. It needed doing and rather do it now than waiting for it to be flat, waiting for the RAC and then still having to buy a new battery. Pay day today so I’ll work out my budget. I have called in sick today as quite frankly I’ve been feeling rubbish for a couple of weeks. I honestly think I’m just burned out with it all and my body is making me stop because I won’t do so on my own. I’ve kept thinking I haven’t got it as hard as some people so keep going when really I should have been thinking I haven’t got it as easy as some people so be kind to yourself. I’m hoping to get out for a walk with the dog later on our own which never happens. As much as I love my boy to bits solitude is sometimes craved for, that and silence with time to stop and reflect. A couple of days should see me right through to Christmas (which is on our own but no work or school) and then I have booked a rare week off in January while my son is at school. I think the last time I had a week off to “myself” was before my boy arrived so it’s long overdue.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)4

Thanks, feeling a bit better and back at work, well the spare room. Might knock off a bit earlier than normal though. I’ve put the heating on and still cold with my several layers and blanket so tea break soon. I think a lot of it is just down to mental strain, if there is such a thing, there are loads of people off sick at work at the moment so maybe it’s just getting to us all. I’ve dug out a notebook, I have several as I love a bit of stationery, and I’m just writing things down I have to do/remember when they pop into my head. Hoping I can clear it out a bit. Well definitely tea break time ☕️

Hello everyone. Decembers mortgage payment has gone out and I also overpaid £230, can’t remember if I’ve already said that. Mortgage now stands at £48,651.11 and my daily interest is £2.22! Just about ready for Christmas but still waiting for the arrival of my great nephew who is now one week overdue. Got to do some cooking and cleaning today but we did have an afternoon out yesterday to do the Peter Rabbit trail at our local NT property. We then had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and bought a couple of tree decorations from the shop. Tree not up yet, I’m sticking with my rule of the weekend before Christmas Day and the more my son nags the more firmly I’m sticking to it! Right off to mix some bread dough (in my mixer) and risotto for lunch.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)4

Well done on the OP. I tend to do my xmas decs in stages and it gets more Christmassy the closer we get to the day. I then take longer than most people to remove them too. I think it was end of Jan this year!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
