Thanks savingholmes school seems to be going ok and his behaviour and work output in the classroom is much improved. It’s my mortgage DD day today so I’ve just made a tiny OP of £12.67 to round things down to a nice £54,200.00 😁. My daily interest is down to £4.06 now as well, so close to dropping below the £4 mark. I looked at the mortgage renewal options again last night and the rate offered for me has dropped ever so slightly. I can arrange my remortgage from around end of July/early August. I’ve got a plan but will probably workout a couple of scenarios to see which is best for me and my finances.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)3

Today’s small win is I’ve managed to book a slot at my local NT property for a week on Saturday. A poor replacement for Gardeners World which was the original plan but a change of scenery for our walk will be very welcome 😁SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5

Hope everyone is doing ok. Had a lovely weekend, my best friend and her daughter came to see us. I’ve not seen her since February and it’s was just so lovely to have another adult to talk to with subjects that didn’t include fireman Sam, scooby doo or Ben and holly 😂 We also had a supermarket “win” on Friday. A friend told me about an Aldi store a mile further away that is in the opposite direction which is normally quieter. We drove there, back, shopped and put it all away in an hour! No queues or hassle, everyone behaving themselves and we were very impressed. I also spent about £8 less than the previous week for a comparable shop in Tesco. Had further lovely news last week, I’m going to be a great auntie again. My youngest niece (who is 30!) is expecting her first baby just before Christmas. They had the 12 week scan last week and so far so good. All in all I feel like we might be turning the corner on this madness.

Evening people. I made another OP a couple of days ago bringing the balance to under £54k so progress is good. I will probably have to use my EF soon as the flat roofing over the dormer windows needs replacing so a job for the summer. I’m not stressed by it just thought well it needs doing, money is there and I can replace it over the coming months. We are in the process of reducing household plastic so I’ve bought a few things just recently as plastic free replacements. Made some yoghurt last night for the first time and it worked and tastes nice. We use a lot of plain yoghurt so that will save a few pots. I’ve sorted out my upright cold frame and now have my toms, peppers and chillies in pots in there. We have had loads of strawberries and broad beans from the garden too. Trying to get a handle on the July shopping budget as I’ve been spending way too much recently but I am also trying to buy myself some nice toiletries on a regular basis as some self care. The online place I use is a small one woman business so I hope I’m doing my bit to support independent traders too. I have started doing some sewing again, nothing fancy at the moment, just household stuff but I’ve plans for a couple of sundresses. Feeling quite good at the moment, long may it continue 🥰SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)6
