I spent almost £50 in the SM, on stuff - much of which could have waited and including a few naughty treats. I really must avoid going shopping when I am hungry!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I would like to join the challenge as I spend a lot of money on food. I eat a lot of food but really I pack the cupboard with food. I want to rotate the stock. I shop sometimes out of boredom and need to focus on other interests. If I don't shop for groceries it helps to reduce the associated shopping for clothes and other " essentials".
I need to buy a new sofa and really need to get this done. Less out on food more focused shopping.0 -
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks0 -
Hi y’all. Saturday and Sunday have been GC NSDs for me. The food spending I have done is in my travel budget. I’m heading back home on Monday morning and I have a feeling Monday will be a NSD as well. I’ll have to get more toilet paper this week and fruit but likely on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Morning all,
I've done some re-stocking of groceries, as I had a Tosco MOC coupon and I also went to Mr. S for tea and porridge, also a few spends at Adli, so total of £69.10 added to signature. I now have enough washing up liquid to last until Christmas.Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget0 -

Another NSD for me as I was traveling back from my trip. I also managed to talk myself out of ordering food for delivery once I saw the price double in the app when all the fees were added. I ended up cooking food I already had at home, like a good girl.
ETA: I just remembered that I forgot to count a cash purchase from Friday night that was $4.51 I think.

Hi Everyone
Hope you’’re doing well with your grocery challenges.
I’ve got a few spends to declare since my last post. We spent £8 in Costco on one of their pasta bakes on Saturday, (we wanted their chicken enchiladas, but they were out, and I was ill* Thursday, Friday and Saturday so was not in any state to cook). On Sunday, we spent £7.60 on fresh veg from the Farm Shop and £15.36 at MrT’s on milk, yoghurts, a bacon joint, some YS spinach (which I cooked down for the freezer when I got home - I was feeling loads better by then). Finally, today, I popped into Lidl for some cheddar, 4 packs of their penne pasta (now 30p, used to be 29p), some hair conditioner and a few other bits, which came to £12.07.
The above brings our total spend for May to £74.53/£120, leaving £45.47 for the rest of the month.
