Parking Ticket Back In June Of Last Year Now Resulting In Court

I've had a letter saying my case has been transferred to another court and that they don't have my defence on file.
They want me to send another copy to them, do I just go ahead and do that?0 -
Yes.
Email it.
If you don't already have it, look up the email address on courtfinder.
Whatever you do, do not think this is an opportunity to 'enhance' your Defence. The Claimant will have already seen your existing Defence, and there would be real problems if anyone thinks you are trying to mislead the court.0 -

Which email do I send it to?0 -
Based on the fact that it isn't any of the others, I would use: -
hearings.stoke.countycourt@justice.gov.uk0 -
Thanks for your help.0

So I have received my Court Allocation and Witness Statement form through the post, I am due in court on the 15th October. I am really nervous about it to be honest and have no clue on where to start. My defence is basically I was sat in a Starbucks having a couple of coffees and wasting a bit of time before I needed to be at my next destination, it didn't even cross my mind I was being timed and didn't notice any signage. The car park was empty apart from a couple other cars so I wasn't stopping other people from entering. I think I was 15 minutes over the allowed time so hardly a great amount.
But yeah, any help on what to do next would be greatly appreciated. I have never been to court before and feel like on the day I'm going to get all flustered and not know what to say.
Cheers.0 -
if you are worried then ...

If the defence is the one that you showed us in post #35, you now need to write a witness statement (WS) that is a narrative, i.e. a story of what happened on the day that backs up your defence and you also need to submit evidence, photos of signage etc. You may also want to search the forum for the Abuse of Process thread by beamerguy with comment by Coupon-mad at post # 14 of that thread and add that into your WS in support of your points 6 & 7 about trying to claim an extra £xx (if it is on the claim).0
