ok, so to finalise...i have the option of getting either
Dulux easycare paint
Satin Matt emulsion
Kitchen paint
bathroom paint
Valspar premium range
which one would be good for my living room wall ?
doesnt it have to be a paint that would have smooth surface unlike matt emulsion to be easy to wipe ?

As far a I know there's no such thing as satin matt emulsion. It's either satin, or matt or another finish e.g. eggshell or gloss.
Any of the other options are wipeable and should be fine, so it's a matter of choice.
Kitchen and bathroom paint tend to come in a more limited colour selection, although there's still a pretty big choice. With Valspar you have a huge range of choices and the option for them to colour match to any colour you want.
