DH though it was a good idea on his way home last night...... Mr M,not pilfered from a local river, I might add
... and think about what to feed our friends who are coming for dinner tomorrow night.
Er, salmon?
I did waaaaaay too much yesterday and feel a bit sore and worn out today despite sleeping extremely well. Taking it easy this morning, or I'll get grumpy later. The laundry's cleared completely again so that's good, paperwork nearly up to date apart from a bank statement this morning, new Ebay purchases have arrived which will require some extensive DIY-ing for the animals, so none of it too onerous and all of it will lead to better things for them.
I also need to carry on setting up the new Tablet - learning new technologies doesn't get any easier as you get older. A three year old would have got the thing up and running in minutes.
Have a lovely Easter Flyladies, and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous weather.Better is good enough.0 -

Love and hugs to everyone.. esp MrsMP and Jojo.. I hope your singing woke the bro up!!
We spent 5 hours driving to Manchester and back yesterday and 6 hours emptying the house of OH's stepdads sister who passed away 3 weeks ago. I only met her the once and never visited her home while she was alive, it was not a place for small whirlwinds!! .. but.. OMG.. the beautiful cross stitch and the sewing she did.. it was all going to be burnt.. and my poor heart couldn't cope.. so I grabbed the lot, told her how amazingly clever and gifted she was and that the things she has put so much love into was going to make others happy and be loved and appreciated..
As a result my house which I am supposed to be emptying it almost bursting more full than it has EVER been and I am desperately trying to deliver it to the places it is going to live.. I have a dining table in the middle of my front room, a dressingtable in the hallway, a chest of drawers in the car, another tale in the kitchen and numerous bags and boxes of ornaments and plates and bedding and I am utterly overwhelmed.
My hayfever is raging so I drugged that so I'm a bit dopey.. double doses as single ones don't touch it.
I have 3 small girls vomiting (and t'other end) and I am drowning!! I had Twinkle sat on a potty and vomiting into another earlier and crying she was hungry in between! She is slobbed watching Paw Patrol now.
I desperately need an extra 5 sets of hands and some transport and OH to be at home for a couple of days!
Had a giggle yesterday.. OH's sister has a wally of a man.. he decided I have a terminal illness I'm not telling anyone about which is the cause of my weight loss.. I said to tell him I am rumbled .. that was after I said tell him to go f*** himself! haha.. honestly.. what the heck does it have to do with anyone else?! Nutters!

Lots done today around being in the sunshine...
One load of washing done, and put onto the airer in the garden. Then I decided our dressing gowns and big towels were due a wash so did those too. I ran out of room on the flimsy airer so made use of the walls and handles outside :rotfl: and also picked up a bigger and sturdier airer when I popped out.
Up early this morning, so I was at Mr S at 9:15 this morning to get drain unblocker. Our shower drain regularly starts to clog up so I left it in for ages this morning, and it seems to have really done the trick. When I mentioned I was going to do this to OH, he kindly volunteered for the first time ever that his sink drain (we have two in the bathroom) must clog up as his sink overfills. I saw this for myself this morning - he was shaving and I asked why he needed the sink so full up that it hit the overflow whilst he was shaving - he informed me the plug wasn't even in   so that was tackled this morning too.
Hoping to really enjoy the sun tomorrow, I didn't get to do much as I don't know anyone where we live and OH does a long days' work on a Saturday, so it gets quite lonely. As my brother kindly put it "it was your choice to move to a village in the middle of nowhere"
All washing & ironing is currently up to date, although I may wash our cushion covers and throws tomorrow and make the most of the sun to dry them in0 -
Good evening
Not much Flying here today! It was Parkrun first thing. I had the pleasure of DS & DD2 for company today - which meant we had a McDs breakfast on the way home!!
I then packed up some lunch, snacks and a flask of tea and headed to the allotment. I am trying to cover the grass with weed membrane & wood chips to make paths and a larger seating area. I am making progress, but it is quite physical and very slow. Also did a fair bit of weeding. After nearly 4 hours I came home! Not much has been done since - except a well needed shower!!
I will try harder tomorrow - although I haven't decided what I am doing. I am torn between taking my mum to visit my brother or doing some much needed gardening. I don't want to lose momentum, so I may stay at home. I saw him last week, and he is doing really well after a big op the week before. Mum is seeing him hopefully on Thursday (he isn't local, so it will be a whole day trip)
Nothing on telly, so I may have an early night and hope to have an early start in the morning! It's a shame to waste such lovely weather
Hugs, sticks and spoon to those that need them0 -

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Hugs for anyone who needs them this morning, especially JoJo.
We're going to a bbq today, will see what flying I can fit in first.
Littleydog has lost a front tooth this morning, not sure if it's something I should worry about. Her teeth are in excellent condition for an older dog and she doesn't seem bothered.
Happy Easter everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
:easter: Morning xx
Love to jojo xx
I'm up, dressed, made bed, fed birds, topped up birdbath, put out recycling, been to village C00P- picked up drinks, crisps and newspaper, put drinks in fridge, took miscellaneous items out of my handbag, put book, hat and sun cream in to my handbag. Left umbrella in there to use as a parasol if necessary....
...I will be spending circa ten hours on an airfield today. It will either be hot or hot, then again it may be … hot. All to watch DS race - approx. 30 minutes track time!!! Crazy but heyho - I've promised to go and :T:j him on. (I hold my breath the entire time he's on track)
I always think of Mum on race days as that's the day I use to sit with her to give Dad a break.
Not thinking about it - going to make toast.
Have a lovely day xx
