    Evening all
    Sorry to have been awol.
    (Hugs) Jojo.
Lovely to see you Mrs MP. You are doing fantastically, just letting us know how you are.
Today has been outside. 3 rows of potatoes planted. Some toe rag has thought it funny to dance over the couple of rows planted a week or so ago. To be fair, we don’t get a lot of human damage at the allotment, more likely deer or pheasant.
The garden is a tip, and not seemingly improved by my afternoon spent slaving out there. The house is also a tip - DH and I had a massive argument last night essentially on the fact that we are still doing up a family home when actually we are now nearer needing an assisted home! Ah well.
Flying? Just the dailies, plus I have a whole salmon in the fridge to deal with. DH though it was a good idea on his way home last night...... Mr M,not pilfered from a local river, I might add :D
I’m going to play catch up with Gardeners World now and think about what to feed our friends who are coming for dinner tomorrow night.
    Goodnight all x
  • Good evening :D
I hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine!

After I got up I stripped the bed and put in the WM. That was hung out before I headed to the allotment with my mum. Mum cleaned out my shed (has been on my to-do list for about a year!! :o) while I wheeled numerous barrow loads of wood chip in my dodgy hard-to-push wheelbarrow to lay on the paths. Also did lots of weeding along the way. It looks a lot better, but more to do tomorrow!
Meanwhile, at home, DH put on more washing and hung it out, and painted some fence panels, managing to get sunburnt whilst he was at it!
We the went to the large DIY store to pick up the new sink, taps & waste via click and collect. Also picked up some bedding plants and compost while we were there :) Stopped at Mr S on the way home to get some pizzas for tea and some milk & other bits.

I did clean the shower before I got in it, and then gave the sink a good clean. But that is about it flying wise.
I am looking forward to more sunshine tomorrow, and getting more done!

Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need it, especially Mrs MP and JoJo

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.

I'm helping at an Easter event this morning and will most likely just potter in the garden this afternoon.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, hugs where needed and thank you for the support.
My lovely godDD and her wife came to visit yesterday so that was a real lift.
Morning was spent at mils during the school hols I've started cooking for her, not sure I'll still be able to fit this in when school starts back but we shall see. I still do her cleaning etc nd have now added loading her wm and mowing her lawn to my list.
Yesterday evening the sewing machine came out, I've made GrandDD a little dress, got some more sewing and knitting to do today, don't think I'm bothering with easter dinner in Sunday, a couple of the kids are busy with other stuff and I've told mil I'll take her out to a garden centre one day next week so I'll go round and cook her something Sunday morning.

Need to do a bit of catch up on the lists and I have a bit of ironing to catch up on.

Have a lovely easter weekend all. Xx

Kaz, I'm finding the school hols (time off and at home alone most of the time hard), so keeping busy is keeping me sane. It's not ideal I know but it the way I've found to cope at the mo. First two days were spent lugging furniture about s I didn't know what else to do so I've settled on crafting now. I did go to local bus depot Thursday and picked up a brochure, I'm thinking of a day trip to my happy place. Not sure how that will pan out, it might be too early as there are so many memories there. Good morning
I totally get the keeping busy bit, Mrs MP, just take care of you along the way x
Another disturbed night’s sleep last night. So far this morning, the wm is just finishing, a pile of ironing has been demolished, and I’m about to sort the clean washing out of the airing cupboard.
I’m taking DD to the stables at midday, hoping to avoid the various road closures and events, but at this rate using the hour or so wait to have a sneaky nap in the car. . Before then I need to do a bit of prep for dinner with friends this evening. This afternoon I need to shift some bits around in the garden so that the 4 dumpy bags of earth that I cleared out yesterday can go back into the veg bed.
It’s beautiful sunshine here, hopefully where you are too.

    Enjoy your Friday, Round!

I did - thank you Honey Bear :D xx Two loads of washing done and dried outside. Birds fed and bird bath swished out and refilled - giving it a good scrub is on my to do list for my week off. Did I mention that I now have a week off? :T:j:D - it's the only thing that got me through the past two weeks, so glad I had it booked :)

I also rinsed and recycled a couple of plastic bottles and six cans, visited Dad, started to read a good book and thoroughly enjoyed watching the Dr Strange film last night. So not much flying done - but after my supervisor/ friend texted me 'don't do too much - pace yourself' I accepted that I am not 100% and a little bit was enough.

Feeling a little more human this morning. First WM load has just finished so I'll get dressed, hang it out and set another load swishing. I'll be out all day tomorrow watching DS race (karting) and today I'm going to bimble / pootle / flutter - a little bit is enough some days.

Hugs to all. Have a lovely Saturday

    :T:T Go kazwookie xx

I'm dressed, had breakfast, made my bed, put out rubbish and some recycling, fed birds, refilled bird bath.... second WM load has stopped swishing so I'll hang it out. Then recycle the cardboard I tore up whilst the toaster was toasting.

May even tear up the second lot of cardboard and recycle that too - before I have a coffee. I know how to live the high life :rotfl:
