  • Have a good day too.

Good idea to take it easy with you going back full time next week. I'm looking forward to a half term break after next week.
Have a lovely day. Hope you get some relaxing time. x

  • Another beautiful sunny morning, it's been a lovely week. Tomorrow I am de cluttering my wardrobe , and hoping to get a capsule wardrobe for the summer. I am sure I will have lots of stuff to put on eBay.

I find if I have too many clothes I just go for the same things all the time .

Hoping for NSD 5 today .

Good luck with the de-cluttering. I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe :). I do try to stick to certain classic styles and colours that I know suit me, won't date quickly and that are good for mixing and matching.
I went to a capsule wardrobe last year.  I have put on weight due to Perimenopause and not horse riding any more, so a lot of clothes de cluttered that did not fit/were not working as members of a capsule wardrobe.  I did buy some new items - black jeans, denim shirt, denim jacket .....  I have stopped buying seasonal items (ie tops with an autumnal theme) and have a much smaller selection of clothes, but I can make so many different outfits.  The freedom of having one dress for funerals/formal events, one dress for parties, 2 jumpers etc really helps keep my mind clear.

Looks like you are doing well and making the adjustment back to work.
I like what you say about decluttering people who make you anxious.
    Keep on keeping on :)

  • I have had a very good day staying at home avoiding Ciara . All the housework done, ironing and some batch cooking.

Feeling ready for a full week at work and the gym or swimming at least 3 times .

The rain has started again here and the wind is getting up again, can't wait for it to go away. The tree outside the window is liking to a scarecrow , swaying about .

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Sounds like you're raring to go for the new week ahead.  Great stuff on decluttering some people out of your life who make you feel bad, you're much better off without them. I'll have my first proper day back at work after my accident on Tuesday - not sure how I'll cope with crossing the busy roads in the city centre but it has to be done.

  • Hope your week at work goes well and that your son is back to his usual self as soon as possible, I've removed some toxic people from my life in the past and it did me the world of good 😊

  • Son is going to test drive a car today, his first time behind a wheel in 2 weeks. I have succumbed to the sore throat and cold that most of my colleagues have or had. I have still managed the gym and swimming this week so far. Will see how today pans out before I go tonight. The weather is dire , fed up of getting wet and feeling cold.
I have had 3 NSD so far this week and hope it will be 5 by tomorrow night. Payday is next week and my salary will be slightly less due to my extra pension contributions.

Need to muster the enthusiasm for work , could quite easily get back in bed as the weather sounds awful again outside.
On the bright side it's Wednesday already 😀

  • Well done on making extra pension contributions. It is tempting not to maximise your contributions when funds are low. Doing greta on your NSDs too.
    Take care with that cold.
