I slept badly last night , but managed the early get up. Work was ok this morning, a case of catching up on the last 5 weeks . I left at 12.30 and took my dad shopping. I have put my feet up since I came home , had dinner and just plan on getting sorted out for tomorrow, gym bag , breakfast etc.
Will carry on with my knitting this evening .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -
Day 2 done and dusted, today was looking good , work then to DDs to wait for a workman. Another trip to the gym and home for a quiet evening, Then my son phoned me to say he had written his car off , it is a bit wrangled well more than a bit, but he escaped with a couple of scratches . He mistook a corner could have been so much worse. I want to give him a big hug but will do it tomorrow.
I feel very cold tonight , the weather today has been dire .
Going to get ready for bed .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -

DS is getting over his crash and realising it could have been much worse. He is taking some leave and working from home until his insurance is sorted out.
I have had a good weekend , friend visited and brought flowers and GF goodies. Babysit the GKs last night always a pleasure. Been out with parents and son today shopping and enjoying family time, ending with GKs visiting as well.
I am working 75% of my working time this week , then hopefully next week full time .
I am looking forward to my weekend away in a couple of weeks .
Off to get sorted for the week ahead.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -
I hope DS will be ok with getting back in a car. I know a couple of people who've had something similar happen to them and they won't drive again. The sooner he gets back behind the wheel the better.
Hope you have a good weekI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
