Pleased to hear your ds is ok other than a few cuts and bruises....no matter how big they are - we just want to hug them when they have trouble of any sort. I know I’ve wanted to this last week or so.
Pleased to hear you’re back at work - take it steady.
Well done on the exercise too - I’m gutted I’ve not had chance to swim recently - I’d got into a nice routine and I’ve not picked my knitting up for a couple of weeks either....life always scuppers my good intentions
    January spends - £587.58
  • Work was fine today started at 7.45 and finished at 3pm. Straight on to the gym for around 40 mins , plus a walk at lunchtime so on about 14,000 steps today.

Had a sweet potato curry with rice for dinner , very nice it was I must say.

No plans for doing anything else tonight.

  • How are you feeling being back? Is it ok?

    14,000 steps is amazing. x

Yes take it steady sunshine - but I agree your steps are fantastic.

You sound like you've been having a lovely time with your family. Pleased to read too that DS is taking it a bit easier and working from hone.

I feel ok being back, I have been doing my job for years and it's easy to settle back in. I will be seeing what jobs come up with my employer , would like a change.

  • Another week flown by, work was ok next week will be the test. I have a busy day today but plan on staying at home tomorrow to hopefully rest for my first week back. I have had a full week now where I haven't got up in the night to have cups of tea for an hour or so. I am still waking twice in the night but am staying in bed, so some success there.

I still have moments of anxiety but nothing like they were before Christmas. I have decluttered more people out of my life who serve no purpose other than to cause me anxious times.

DGD wasn't well yesterday so we stayed in most of the day, other than a quick supermarket trip and school pick up for DGS.
DS is still not himself after his car accident, he is taking time out and getting some much needed downtime. He will be back in the swing of things before long I hope.

Haven't spent much this month my personal spends are still intact , but am having my hair done today and waxing later.

Hoping to buy a new mirror and some wall art to finally finish my flat off , bit can't seem to decide what I want.

Best get dressed now, have a good day everyone.
