I think exercise always makes you feel better. I'm feeling it not being able to do mine at the moment, can't wait to get back to it.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Meeting at work went really well, I had been to the doctors before and got the appropriate fit notes. On my way back from work meeting went to the gym and swam 40 lengths . I am hoping to go tomorrow as well. I have started with sneezing and blowing my noise hope I am not getting a virus. Not just as I feel so much better.

Tomorrow I need to go shopping and have a waxing appointment at teatime it's payday on Friday so have done well with my funds over Christmas probably because I haven't been anywhere .

Need to write a to do list for things to do before I return to work.

  • I'm glad you're starting to feel more like yourself Sunshine. It sounds like the break from work is doing you a lot of good by enabling you to do some things for yourself. Walks in beautiful scenery, exercise and family time are excellent therapy for the mind, as is de-cluttering, etc.

I coped when my Mum died by going for long walks, stopping drinking alcohol and cutting right back on sugar, de-cluttering my home and spending time with family. I also kept a grief journal and wrote in it every day for six months. This enabled me to cope without AD which I didn't want to take this time because they made me feel a bit dopey.

I'm glad your meeting at work went well

Been to the gym again and feel quite tired now. Had a counsellor session the first of six, she was very helpful.

Need to get ready soon to go for waxing, want to walk but it's blowing a gale outside but will be quicker than driving will just get wrapped up it's 10 mins down the road.

Tomorrow is childminding and then depending on my sniffles will probably be off to the Lakes for the weekend .

Off to prepare my evening meal before I nip out.

  • Well what a funny morning, received an sos phone call from a relative , their broadband hadn't been working for 10 days despite putting a new router on. Anyway after many phone calls to India , Virgin promised an engineer this morning between 8 and 12 . Despite having GD in tow I volunteered to sit in as relative had important meeting. Virgin man turned up well I never , he was shouting at the Indian call centre staff telling them to hurry up . He was getting more annoyed by the minute , then he told me he had had a stroke 12 months ago so I was half expecting him to collapse. His wife phoned and they had a full blown row on the phone for 10 mins about 40p well that was what he kept saying. He was so funny hopping from one foot to another , making heavy breathing noises everytime he was in the floor . Quite a comical morning, lo and behold after 2 hours 20 mins he mended it, after 2 cups of tea much berating . He then asked could my relative leave feedback for him.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • DGD did really well at swimming lesson and is now having a much needed sleep , grandma is putting her feet up until school run time .

I have been paid today but haven't sorted the budget yet , that's for later.

The weather looks ideal for Lake District cold and sunny , can't wait.
