  • Phew, just caught up on your diary, you have been busy since I last checked in and I hope you have a lovely time in the lakes

    Congratulations on your new flat

Sorry to hear you mum was poorly but glad to hear she has recovered

    Boo and yay to squirrelgate

Sad to hear you are experiencing some difficult times and it sounds like you have had to make some difficult decisions,I've done the same over the last few years and I've made peace with it now

Lastly I grew up in a council house until I moved out to live in a grotty bedsit, I had my first baby and was given a two bedroom council flat, which although terribly cold and damp would have been lovely if I had had the money to do it up nicely ,after having my second baby I applied for a house and was given a brand new three bedroom house on a new estate,I had split with my partner by then so moved on my own with the children
Stupidly I took my ex partner back after a couple of years and he persuaded me to buy the house I'm living in now, it's a 1960 terrace that is falling apart
and although it's in a nicer area than my old house I still regret giving that house up, it was a lovely house and I remember it was soooo warm, sadly the estate it was on was quite rough which was why I was persuaded to move so easily, if only we had a crystal ball, if I had stayed there I could have exchanged into a smaller property now with a much cheaper rent than my current mortgage, still it's too late now so I make the best of the house I have

  • The lakes was very restful , I look forward to my next visit.

Tomorrow I have to do something that I don't really want to do , but need to. I wish I could explain on here but it would identify me maybe . The people who know me in real life know what I am doing. It will bring some closure to a matter. I feel Christmas can start after this event is over.

Have written my Xmas cards for abroad and plan to post them tomorrow after the morning event. I need to do my massive ironing pile in the afternoon ! . I have the day off work tomorrow, back in Tuesday.

    Enjoy the evening.
