My parents went to the markets yesterday and said it is pretty much just food stalls this year. Not sure if they have missed a whole bit xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.

I went to markets last weekend and we had some bits of food - it’s a tradition to have something there - it’s a bit of a rip off but I love the atmosphere although it was rather strange as the Christmas lights weren’t switched on when we went - that happened this week. We commented that it’s all pretty much the same as previous years....dare say we’ll visit again though now the lights are on. I didn’t succumb to a mulled wine as it didn’t feel Christmassy and I was attempting to be good food wise. So another trip is definitely on the cards - we just happened to be in town for ds birthday last week.
Sorry you’ve had some rubbish stuff going on. Hope you’re ok.
You’ve got some nice things to look forward to - enjoy :beer:January spends - £587.581 -
Up bright and early to do a big ironing pile before trip to Xmas markets. I was in bed at 7.30 last night was overcome with tiredness.
Found a new beauty salon yesterday for my bits of waxing, same price as old one but in walking distance of my new abode.
Hair done as well by niece so £36 spent on hair and waxing. Shopping was £21.77 couple of Christmas food items in that.
This is my 3rd Xmas of paying for everything in real money not CC , having saved up all year. I think I may be slightly over by about £20 .
Work is busy again this week , I am back at the gym as well twice a week at the minute . Have gone caffeine free this week with tea bags , hoping this helps with sleeping.
Best get dressed now .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Working week finished , it's been a long one. Waiting for gas engineer to sort out the timer on the boiler, appointment 4.30pm -8.00pm.
Tomorrow GD starts swimming lessons, these will fall in my remit, so actually looking forward to it. In the evening I am on the train to Windermere for a visit to friend again. Looking forward to a sit down.
Money wise everything is ticking along nicely, though have bought my lunch twice this week at work, not a habit I want to keep up.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
