Oh dear to the 'lodgers' though. Hopefully you can get them evicted soon!
When the new blinds are up they'll bring a smile to your face!
Have a good Saturday!

Washing machine sorted , connector on the tap was loose, all sorted now. The bathroom fan done as well today by the electrician , it was staying on all the time , now it's sorted.
The GKs came for the first time since I moved in, they appreciated the extra space they now have. I missed them this week. Son in law stuck his head in the loft with a torch and had a look around and couldn't see anything. The only thing is there is loads of insulation in the loft and the roof is only about 18 inches above it. We are now wondering if it's birds on the roof and the gutters I can hear., I have a tree right near my roof as well.
I still have no idea where I am up to with money , I am personally spending very little on myself, nothing planned for a while.
My friends from the north east are calling tomorrow on their way back home, looking forward to that. I have a massive ironing pile to do as well. I have spent time today doing more cleaning.
I am sleeping really well , still waking up but not getting up . Hope it carries on.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
You must have been so pleased to see the GKs again. I bet they were excited to run about in your new space!
You'll soon have your budgets sorted again, I wouldn't worry too much. You always spend more than you anticipate when you move home.
Hope you had a great time with your friends.

Pleased you had a nice time with your friends as they were travelling to North East. I bet your new place is lovely- hope the scratches in the corner stop soon.

I'm still here, flat is looking more like home, pictures up today and new blinds gone up.
The little monster in my loft is a squirrel not birds. I have a photo of him, sat on my roof , right near where he sounds like he is coming through the ceiling. I will be contacting pest control again tomorrow.
I was in tears this afternoon the noise was that bad, my son found me like a wreck , the only thing I can say is the bloody thing is quiet at night.
I have sourced a table today secondhand it's being delivered Friday .
Another week about to start.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
Squirrels are quite big so no wonder it's noisy
We have them in our garden but thankfully not in the loft. The dog chases them off so she is probably a deterrent.
Glad you're settling in xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -

Glad to hear your settling in - apart from the rat in the cute outfit (as Carrie in Sex and the City once famously called a squirrel that was terrifying her!).
Seriously though I hope the pest man carts him off and you get some peace from all that scratching.
Your table sounds like a bargain!:)
