Thank you to everyone for congratulations messages.
I haven't seen new DGS awake yet , he is always asleep when I have seen him. He is the image of his brother at the moment even down to his nose .
I seem to have become chief dog walker at the minute which I don't mind at all. My SIL looks rather tired as he is home schooling now and being the housewife . He said it's easier to go to work.
I have changed my May holiday to April next year and feel better about that. We do have flights booked to Tenerife in late August hoping to go on that holiday . If things change significantly in the next few months can always book a last minute break but would rather have had both Covid jabs before I leave the country again.
Still not heard anything about my job but if I do stay on the grade am thinking of dropping down to 3 days a week but all up in the air at the minute .
With walking the dog and another trot out to help a neighbour I have achieved my 10,000 steps easily, but boy it's chilly out there.
Really busy work wise today but all ok. Loved walking at lunchtime today in the sun. Even though it was cold it felt like Spring was around the corner .
I remembered to drink water today , it had gone by the board recently but managed 2 litres no issues .
My weight loss has stalled I only lost half a pound last week , I am looking forward to getting back to swimming when we can, that will help weight loss.
I’m missing my swimming too SG. I’m itching to give it a go as I haven’t been since I was in hospital. It was great to gauge my fitness last time - started off managing half a length worked up to about 30. Lol at your sil - they don’t realise how hard looking after littlies and a house can be 😂😂 im glad you’re enjoying the dog walking.
When it’s cold it seems harder to drink water. I’ve got two of those water increment bottles that I store in the fridge and I try to make sure they’re empty by the end of the working day. Hopefully you’ll be back to your swimming soon.
