Congratulation on the new baby. I somehow managed to miss that!
Glad your boss kept you on the higher grade. (You obviously deserved it.)
Being gifted the chair is good too
Shopping definitely going up. I'm about to restart an organic veg scheme as I am in one of the very high and mutating areas and I want to cut down on the supermarket shops. So my food bills will go up again, but in Covid times if possible the focus should be on good, nutritious food and staying safe.
Hope you have a good day.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I can honestly say that yesterday I left my chair for about 20 mins in 9 hours it was truly busy and I am glad the work week was finished . I am only in on Monday and then off until the 24th Feb. On Tuesday I have a not nice meeting to go to but once it's done hopefully that will be the end of it .I am on grandma duties to help my DD for the two weeks I am off .Today I have been mega busy with helping mum and dad , running errands for them. Then walking DDs dog with the GKs . Did my shopping , then came home and did all my housework .Looking forward to a restful weekend now .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Sunshine_girl2 said:I got some good news today , I am getting a new works laptop and phone tomorrow just need to collect it when I go in work.I have been gifted a baby high chair by a fellow grandma who has finished with it. It looks like new , I will keep it in the store room at my flat until it's needed .m
The best news though is my big boss phoned me to say that I am staying on my new grade permanently from April so no salary increase but no going back to the previous grade . This is great as I can now make financial plans for the year .. It will be beneficial for you to be able to have financial security and it feels good to be appreciated.
My food bills have gone up massively too and we've never eaten out much so it's really eating into our budget. I think supermarkets are taking advantage by raising their prices during lockdowns. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Another week done and a busy one for me.Monday was a work day very busy but off till the 24th Feb.Tuesday was the meeting I wasn't looking forward to and am glad it's over for this year. From Wednesday I have been helping my DD with the children and baby . I have been dog walking , doing housework, helping DGD with homeschooling and changing nappies .As I am the only person allowed in the house I have done my best to do what I can and now I have the weekend off , over to DSIL.Still did my mum and dads shopping this morning and dropped it off.The best news I got today was an appointment for my Covid jab next Wednesday. I assume I have been put in the 16-64 underlying health condition category. I am glad to have been offered it.Everyone have a good weekend .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5
