It's the middle of the pay month most DDs have gone out . Got my final energy bill this morning from my old supplier so need to move some money across from another account. The £25 has gone in from switching so that has gone to my retirement fund . I have had my second to good to go shop yesterday , it was from the local market . I shared it with my DD and I will be making soup with mine tonight. The price of my food bill has definitely increased in the last couple of months , but as I am not using much petrol about £25 a month rather than the usual £80 it is ok at the minute but if we ever go back to normal life I need to be wary of the rise.Have woken to snow so a complete change from yesterday but at least no travelling to do .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -
Pleased we have no snow but it’s a grey miserable day here.
My food bill has gone up a fair bit too. But we aren’t eating out anywhere so I’m saving on that. With being off work I can’t remember the last time I put petrol in my car. Dh is alternating between using his and my cars. I’m not convinced we need both cars - it’ll depend what happens with my work I suppose.
Little monkey sleeping all day and staying up all night.....bless. Hopefully your dd is getting lots of rest at other times 🤞January spends - £587.582 -
I got some good news today , I am getting a new works laptop and phone tomorrow just need to collect it when I go in work.I have been gifted a baby high chair by a fellow grandma who has finished with it. It looks like new , I will keep it in the store room at my flat until it's needed .m
The best news though is my big boss phoned me to say that I am staying on my new grade permanently from April so no salary increase but no going back to the previous grade . This is great as I can now make financial plans for the year .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -
