Hope everything went well at the hospital. I’m glad it felt safe.
I bet the gks had a great time and I bet you did too. We’ve been getting plans together to visit mine in a few weeks - just need to confirm the date. We FaceTimed this afternoon and eldest isn’t herself - she’s missing everyone from every aspect of her little world....it was quite sad. I can’t wait to see them.
Im pleased your parents enjoyed their anniversary- at least the weather was decent for them. Good job it wasn’t today!!January spends - £587.583 -
Well life has passed me by time wise , can't believe it's July already. Work has been dire this last 2 weeks and I am relieved to finish at the end of the day. Work politics has reared its head again and I am not happy about some of it. It's a wait and see at the moment.Everything ticking along ok money wise, have been doing a lot of surveys on PA , made about £28 in the last 10 days. Received £59 for opticians fees , so no cost there . My car is due it's MOT in about 6 weeks so need to decide where to take it .Have been meal planning this last 4 weeks and I am definitely spending less and eating better. Still walking everyday it's become a habit I hope I can keep up when we eventually return to the office, if we do of course.I am now back on child care every Friday from this week, so need to think what we can do that doesn't cost lots of money.Have a good evening .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

I can’t see us returning to the office this year to be honest. They’re only looking at those who can’t work from home going back, those with technical or mental health reasons.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Good to hear from you Sunshine. How far do you want to travel with the GKs. We went to New Brighton last week - there’s a bit of a beach and a lovely walk which the children could scooter/ride along. Half way down the walkway there’s a park selling lovely ice cream (a cafe in usual times) in the park are pieces of art made from driftwood - lots of fairy houses and mystical creatures. It’s not completed yet as far as I know but there’s going to be a Eureka museum at the end of the walk. It all overlooks Liverpool. There’s lots of boats on the river too. It took us about an hour from here. Some of it has seen better days but they’re doing it up - a new Morrison’s where you could buy a picnic and then there’s new restaurants which will probably be open now and a chippy on the front.

Have been out for a walk this evening with my friend. We have a shrine not far from me ,we sat in the gardens I lost a baby 37 years ago today a little boy at 22 weeks, it was lovely to sit there for a few minutes and think of him. I would have been a young mum at 19 , you never forget. Thankfully I went on to have 2 healthy children, some people don't get the chance.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5
